Abstract: A freezer drawer support assembly is provided for a refrigerator including an upper fresh food compartment and a lower freezer compartment having a rearwardly tapering liner. The support assembly includes a pair of side adapters which compensate for the tapering of the liner, while defining both channels for the attachment of extensible drawer slides, to which a freezer door and a slidable basket is attached, and ledges for slidably supporting another basket. Preferably, the side adapters mate with groove and ledge structure formed into the liner to enhance the transfer of weight from the baskets, while enabling a refrigerator liner designed to directly support one or more slidable baskets to indirectly support multiple baskets which can be slid relative to each other.
Abstract: A shock absorbing mounting rail includes a first rail member formed of a first material. A second rail member is formed of a second material more resilient than the first material. The second rail member is mounted in the first rail member and provides a shock absorbing fastener receptacle and a shock absorbing tip on a first end of the first rail member. A flexible handle is provided on a second end of the first rail member, opposite the first end.

Abstract: A component chassis of a server is installed into a rack with a quick-disconnect slide rail. The inner rail member is secured to the component chassis by a quick-connect system having multiple headed protrusions received in corresponding keyhole slots in the rail web, and then slid along the slots until a spring latch snaps into place, without the use of tools. The component chassis, with its attached inner rail members, is then slid into place by inserting the inner rail members in mating outer rail members pre-installed on the rack.
Abstract: A cabinet rail assembly includes a pair of cabinet rails, each of which is provided with a projection on the bottom edge of a front end portion that extends a predetermined distance below the bottom edge of the front end portion which is adapted to space the bottom edge of the cabinet rail by a pre-determined distance above a bottom member of the drawer opening. The projection on the front end of a left-hand cabinet rail is formed from a corresponding notch on the front end of a right-hand cabinet rail and vice versa.

Abstract: A fixing base structure of a slide track. The fixing base includes snap members, a guide channel, a retaining groove, and a retaining plate. The snap members are arranged on the back face of the fixing base. The guide channel is provided in the front face of a fixing base, and the retaining groove is matingly provided in the guide channel. In the structure of the guide channel, the guide channel is matingly provided with a retaining plate located above the retaining groove. When the slide track is mounted in the guide channel of the fixing base, the retaining plate elastically presses the slide track in the retaining groove, such that the slide track and the fixing base may have a better combination positioning effect therebetween.

Abstract: A slide fastening assembly and alignment system for mounting a drawer slide to the interior wall of a cabinet or piece of furniture. The fastener assembly includes a fastener cartridge having a body and interior chamber. The chamber encloses a small explosive charge, a detonator, a piston head and a sharpened shaft attached to the piston head. Encapsulated adhesive may optionally surround the shaft. In the preferred embodiment, the cartridge is mounted to a fastener plate that is fixed to the drawer slide member to be attached to the interior of the cabinet. In an alternative embodiment the cartridge is mounted to a bracket. In use, the drawer slide is mounted to the drawer and the drawer is then positioned in the interior of the cabinet. Once the drawer is vertically and horizontally aligned, the charge is detonated and the piston head and shaft secure the fastener plate to the wall of the cabinet through an aperture in the fastener plate or bracket.
Abstract: In the present slide rail a space receives a roller. Upper and lower rollers have their respective axes for rotation having inclinations of &thgr; and −&thgr;°, respectively, relative to an axis perpendicular to a body of the external rail. Thus the slide rail can have a simple structure.
Abstract: A rail assembly is adapted for mounting a data storage device in a computer enclosure. The rail assembly comprises a rail and a conductive fastener attached to the rail for fixing the rail to a data storage device. The rail comprises a body and a latch so connected with the body as to be capable of a flexing movement relative to the body for engaging with a computer enclosure. The body defines a number of pairs of through holes and a first slot. The fastener comprises a pair of tabs for engagingly extending into a selected pair of the through holes of the rail and a pair of posts for extending through the first slot of the rail to securely engaging with the data storage device. The fastener can mount the rail to the data storage device with the rail attached at a number of different positions relative to the data storage device.
Abstract: A ball bearing roller and ball bearing slide assembly for use in an article of manufacture, for example a toolbox having drawers, is disclosed. The ball bearing slide assembly can comprise a first slide element, a second slide element and a carriage, wherein the carriage couples, in combination with a ball bearing roller, the first slide member to the second slide member such that the second slide member moves relative to both the first slide member and the carriage. The ball bearing roller is swaged on a side of the roller that is attachable to the article of manufacture. The ball bearing slide assembly can be used, for example, as a drawer slide assembly. The ball bearing slide assembly enhances lateral stability. The invention decreases the likelihood of bearing fatigue, and ultimate bearing failure, due to lateral movement. The present invention provides a cost effective way to align, for example, shelves or drawers, with respect to the article of manufacture.
Abstract: Pull-out guidance assembly for drawers with one drawer-side pull-out rail and one body-side bearing rail each on both sides of the drawer. A fluidic damper is provided developed as a rotation damper (20). Between the bearing rail (4) and the pull-out rail (6) is displaceably disposed a center rail (5). The pull-out rail (6) is set into a drawer side wall (3) and fixed in it. The fluidic damper, which is mounted on the pull-out rail (6) or the drawer side wall (3), comprises a pinion (10), which meshes with a rack section (16) of a slider (8) movable relative to the pull-out rail (6), to the drawer side wall (3) and to the bearing rail (4). An stop (11) disposed on the bearing rail (4) is provided for the slider (8).
Abstract: The fully extendible drawer unit comprises two pairs of, in each case, three rails (1, 25, 45) which can be pushed into one another. On the carcass rail (1) is positioned a differential roller (9), which allows the intermediate rail (25) to be moved along, when the drawer starts to be pulled out, at a lower speed than the drawer and the drawer rail (45). A coupling lever (55) ensures that the intermediate rail (25) is still pulled along even when the drawer rail (45) has already left the differential roller (9) and that this happens synchronously.
Abstract: A drawer slide and drawer slide combination which incorporates a connecting clip for providing a quick-release connection between the drawer slide 3 and the drawer 21 the clip comprising a fixing part 1 for connection preferably with a snap-fit, and preferably to the slide and a latching part 13 having a projection 17 thereon, preferably for engagement with an aperture 19 in the drawer 21. The latching part 13 is preferably spring loaded and preferably pivotable between a first aperture engaging position for connecting the drawer to the slide and a second release position in which the projection 17 no longer engages in the aperture in the drawer, whereby the drawer and slide can be disconnected. Disconnection is achieved by applying finger pressure to a release latch portion 15, which may be integral with the latching part 13. The connecting clip could be made of spring metal, but is preferably made of resiliently deformnable plastics material. It may be formed in one or in two parts.
Abstract: The enclosure includes a base section fabricated from a single piece of material, such as sheet metal, in which multiple design details are punched and formed. A cover section with tabs for inserting in slots formed in the base section is provided. A one-piece card cage including injector/ejector latching details and card guide rails is connected via welding or other means to the base section. An enabler assembly, including guide rails, is fastened to the card cage and configures the card cage into multiple adapter receiving cavities.
