Radiant Energy Controlled Regulation Of The Current Supply For The Load Device Patents (Class 315/158)
  • Patent number: 11972070
Abstract: Mitigation techniques can be used to reduce noise generated by wireless communication circuitry (e.g., near-field communication circuitry) in an electronic device including a display, touch, and wireless communication circuitry. In some examples, a touch screen can have a backplane including a mesh of routing traces connected to an array of chiplets. In some examples, the chiplets can repeat signals to prevent the accumulation of noise induced by an NFC coil. In some examples, the ratio between vertical and horizontal resistances of routing traces can be configured to mitigate noise induced by the coil. In some examples, the routing traces of the mesh can be configured to share a common geometric centroid. In some examples, a plurality of routing traces can be routed in a twisted pair configuration. In some examples, the routing traces and chiplets can be routed to minimize traversal through regions of relatively high electromagnetic field.

Abstract: Single-layer LEDs were developed using a composite thin film of organometal halide perovskite (Pero) and poly (ethylene oxide) (PEO). Single-layer Pero LEDs have a device structure that resembles “bottom electrode (ITO)/Pero-PEO/top electrode (In/Ga or Au)”. Green emission LEDs with methylammonium lead bromide (bromide-Pero) and PEO composite thin films exhibit a low turn-on voltage of about 2.8-3.1 V (defined at 1 cd m?2 luminance), a maximum luminance of 4064 cd m?2 and a moderate maximum current efficiency of about 0.24-0.74 cd A?1. Blue and red emission LEDs have also been fabricated using Cl/Br or Br/I alloyed Pero-PEO composite thin films.

  • Patent number: 10877499
Abstract: A device receives position information from a sensor of the device, wherein the position information indicates a position of a user of the device and a position of a person proximate to the user. The device receives lighting information from the sensor, wherein the lighting information indicates lighting conditions around the device and the user. The device calculates a position adjustment for an infrared element of the device based on the position information and the lighting information, and calculates an intensity adjustment for the infrared element based on the position information and the lighting information. The device receives, via an input element of the device, input data provided by the user, and implements the position adjustment and the intensity adjustment to enable the infrared element, when illuminated, to reflect light away from the input element and to prevent image or video capture of the input data.

  • Patent number: 10849207
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a lighting system configured to obtain an indicator data of a RF spectrum signal generated by a number of receivers at a number of times in an area. At each respective one of the number of times, for each respective one of the receivers, apply one of a plurality of heuristic algorithm coefficients to each indicator data for the respective time, based on results of the applications of the coefficients to indicator data, generate an indicator data metric value for each of the indicator data for the respective time, and process the indicator data metric values to compute an output value. The lighting system is further configured to compare the output value at each of the plurality of times with a threshold to detect one of an occupancy condition or a non-occupancy condition in the area and control the light source in response to the detected one of the occupancy condition or the non-occupancy condition in the area at each of the number of times.

Abstract: Lighting control systems are disclosed that have a plurality of current sensors and a microprocessor. A first current sensor in the plurality of current sensors measures a first current of a first LED channel, and a second current sensor measures a second current of a second LED channel. The microprocessor is configured to set a setpoint that defines a maximum current for a dimming profile of a lighting fixture, and control a biological light ratio according to the dimming profile. The ratio may be an M/P ratio of melanopic lux to photopic lux or an OPN5/OPN4 ratio of OPN5 lux to melanopic lux. The dimming profile correlates the ratio to a percentage of the maximum current.

  • Patent number: 10819426
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for decoding light based communication (LBC) messages transmitted between a transmitter device and a receiver device. The receiver device includes a processor that executes a process to decode a received LBC message. The processor determines a moving average and removes the moving average to provide a second digital message (with the moving average removed), to account for any noises or interferences. The moving average may be determined using a length-preserving moving average. The peak location in the second digital message is identified and used as a start position for synchronization when the peak location is above the threshold. Sampling points are derived, and logical maximum and minimum values (1's and 0's) are assigned to one or more of the sampling points. The logical values are decoded to generate a decoded sequence of data representative of the received LBC message.

  • Patent number: 10743391
Abstract: The invention discloses a lighting control method, by setting the first target illumination value of the illumination sensor so that the illumination of the target area is the set illumination value. Later, at each time node, the system calculates the current second target illumination value of the illumination sensor, and then adjusts the brightness of the lamp so that the detected value of the illumination sensor reaches the second target illumination value. When the detected value of the illumination sensor reaches the second target illumination value, the illumination of the target area can be consistent with the set illumination value of the target area at this time. The present invention can make the target area to substantially maintain constant illumination during the illumination period.
