  • Publication number: 20140139135
Abstract: According to an embodiment, an illumination apparatus includes a light source that emits at least two types of lights having different spectral distributions and a controller. The controller starts controlling of the light source. The controller sequentially performs switching-controlling of pre-set lighting-up patterns of the light source so as to switch at least one of a combination of the lights having different spectral distributions of the light source and a combination of intensities of the light source in response to the start of the control of the light source. The controller ends controlling of the light source after at least the switching-controlling of all the pre-set lighting-up patterns of the light source is performed.

When the controller detects the phase modulating voltage of different waveforms, the controller controls the LED driving circuit to enable the LED lamp module to emit light of different luminance according to waveforms of the phase modulating voltage.

Abstract: A product display system has a product carrier and a lighting device including a plurality of light sources, each having two or more LEDs of different light colour, and a control device. The control device can control the various light sources, and even the various LEDs in the light sources, in order, in this way, to achieve a different luminosity and/or light colour per light source. The control device reads an information carrier having information associated with the product, and adjusts a light source which illuminates a place of the product carrier designed for the product on the basis of information read from the information carrier.

Abstract: A light emitting device includes: a light source unit which has a first and a second LED which are connected in parallel and emit lights of different colors, respectively. The lights of the first and the second LED are mixed to provide an emission light of the light source unit when an operating voltage is applied. The light source unit further has a resistor which is connected in series to the first LED to make forward current changing characteristics of the first and the second LED depending on change in the operating voltage to be different from each other, so that a required luminous flux-color temperature property, in which change in a color temperature of the emission light is made to depend on change in a luminous flux of the emission light, is obtained while the first and the second LED are turned on by applying the operating voltage.

Abstract: The disclosed pan-tilt spotlight is a sealed, remote controlled unit which allows continuous 360° rotation (pan) of visible or infrared (IR) light sources as well as vertical (tilt) aiming of the light sources 65° above horizontal and 25° below horizontal. The light sources are solid state (LEDs) which are energy efficient and extremely durable in the field, requiring little maintenance. Light shields are employed to control stray light, thereby enhancing the stealth of the spotlight in covert operations. The rotating parts of the spotlight are supported at several locations spaced from the axis of rotation in a manner that re-directs forces that would otherwise be carried by the shaft. Temperature sensitive current regulators and robust thermal design protect the LEDs from heat damage. Sophisticated motor control allows fast and precise positioning of the light beam and worm final drive gears keep the light beam in position.
