Abstract: A magnetic current sensor including a Wheatstone bridge circuit formed of four magnetoresistance devices; bias magnetic field application that applies a bias magnetic field to the magnetoresistance devices; and air-core coils provided on both sides of the Wheatstone bridge circuit. The Wheatstone bridge circuit generates a voltage corresponding to an induction magnetic field generated by a current to be measured flowing through the air-core coils. According to the magnetic current sensor and current measurement method, the linearity between a current and an output voltage is near 0 mA as a result of magnetic hysteresis being suppressed, and an increase in current and a reduction in size and cost are realized as a result of insulation between the current circuit side and the MR device side being excellent.

The shadowmaskless tracking cathode ray tube control circuit further comprises a loop gain control means for compensating the loop gain of the control loop in dependence on the inverse value of the beam current in the shadowmaskless tracking cathode ray tube. The effect is that a constant loop gain is created, which is independent of the beam current.

  • Patent number: 6194848
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically compensating for the deflection of electron beam in a cathode ray tube display by the earth's magnetic field (EMF) detects the EMF at the installation site of the cathode ray tube display by the EMF detector comprising a plurality of magnetic sensors for sensing the x, y, z component of magnetic field. A pulse generator and a counter transform each detected component of the EMF into a predetermined gate signal and then output the gate signal to the microcomputer. The microcomputer compares the gate signal indicative of the detected EMF with a reference signal stored in the internal memory to obtain a compensation value. The microcomputer further outputs the compensation value to a processor, which automatically compensates for the deflection of electron beam in a cathode ray tube.

Abstract: A method for controlling the power consumption in a tilt correcting coil is disclosed. The power consumption is corrected in the tilt correcting coil for correcting the tilt of the images of the cathode ray tube. If a microcomputer judges that the mode is the on-state mode, then the microcomputer outputs a tilt correcting PWM signal in accordance with the user's inputting. Then the output tilt correcting PWM signal is converted into a dc voltage, and the level is adjusted. Then the signal is supplied to the tilt correcting coil, so that the tilt of the image on the screen would be corrected. In the cases of the standby mode, the suspend mode and/or the power-off mode, the microcomputer outputs a signal which has a function of minimizing the power consumption of the tilt correcting coil. Therefore, the tilt of the image of the screen is corrected in the normal manner.
