Unidirectionally Conductive Devices In Energizing Circuit Patents (Class 318/125)
  • Patent number: 9948171
Abstract: A positive displacement inductive pump includes a central piston formed of a ferromagnetic material having non-ferromagnetic end pistons that extend from each of its opposite ends. Stationary end walls are mounted to opposite ends of a housing and are centrally bored. First and second inductive coils are alternately energized, causing the central piston and the end pistons to conjointly reciprocate within an axial bore and the end wall central bores, respectively. First and second check valves are positioned outboard of each end wall and allow valve-controlled ingress and egress of material into and out of the axial and central bores. The relative diameters of the central piston and the end pistons are changed to control the relationship between the magnetic force applied and the output pressure for a given volume of fluid.

  • Patent number: 8847522
Abstract: In a motor, a stationary member is provided with a number M (M is a positive integer) of first poles within 360 electrical degrees at spaces therebetween. A plurality of windings are at least partly wound in the spaces, respectively. A movable member is movably arranged relative to the stationary member and provided with a number K (K is a positive integer) of second poles. The number K of second poles is different from the number M of first poles. A unidirectional current supply unit supplies a unidirectional current to at least one of the windings so as to create an attractive force between at least one of the first poles and a corresponding at least one of the second poles to thereby move the movable member relative to the stationary member.

  • Patent number: 4468594
Abstract: A two-directional percussion implement selectively adaptable both for driving in and for extracting, e.g. piles, from the ground, includes two coaxial electromagnetic coils whose movable armatures are represented by extremities of a reciprocable ram. Opposite anvils, one of which is adapted to be coupled with a driven element, are interlinked by a non-magnetic shaft traversing the ram. When the implement is intended for drilling operations, a rotary drive imparts rotation to one of the anvils via a connection permitting independent rotation and reciprocation. The shaft in this case has a central channel for taking samples or for conducting drilling fluids. When adapted only for axial percussions, the implement is vertically suspended on a cable via a shock absorber.

  • Patent number: 3970907
Abstract: An electrical apparatus for producing pulsating high torque rotational vibration movement combined with a slow superimposed unidirectional rotary motion is disclosed. The apparatus includes an alternating current motor combined in a mechanically resonatable system with electrical apparatus producing a non-alternating component of magnetic flux in the motor structure. The torque generating ability of the motor is increased approximately five-fold even though the motor is operated from the same supply voltage. The disclosed apparatus is illustrated connected to a waste disposer device.

  • Patent number: 3931554
Abstract: A reciprocating motor compressor assembly includes a pair of opposed pistons or diaphragms actuated by a reciprocating armature. The armature is fabricated from laminations of ferromagnetic material and includes a pair of electrically conductive induction rings disposed about the ends of the laminations in coaxial relationship with a longitudinal axis of the armature. A two coil stator is disposed in coaxial relationship with the armature and the coils are alternately energized by a multivibrator or a pair of oppositely poled half wave rectifiers connected to a source of alternating current voltage. In order to increase the duty cycle of the energizing current, each stator coil is provided with two coaxially wound parallel connected windings and a phase shifting capacitor connected in series with one of the windings.
