  • Publication number: 20150061646
Abstract: A switch actuation detection unit has a switch actuation voltage reception terminal and a logic circuit. The logic circuit includes a first port, a second port, a zener diode, and a signal port. The switch actuation voltage reception terminal receives a switch actuation voltage. The first port is connected to the switch actuation voltage reception terminal. A first terminal of the zener diode is connected to the switch actuation voltage reception terminal while a second terminal of the zener diode is connected to the second port. The signal port provides a plurality of pre-determined switch state signals.

  • Patent number: 8878540
Abstract: A plurality of result signals are driven low when abnormal condition is detected and driven high when no abnormal condition is detected. Presence and absence of the abnormal conditions of different types are indicated in a predetermined sequence by high and low signal levels of the result signals. The voltage detecting circuits simultaneously output the result signals on corresponding branching lines connected to a main line of a communication line. An OR gate outputs a result signal on which the result signals output by the voltage detecting circuits are superimposed. When at least one of the result signals of the voltage detecting circuits is at a level indicative of the presence of the abnormal condition, the OR gate outputs on the main line the result signal having the level indicative of the abnormal condition.

  • Publication number: 20120323372
Abstract: Electric arc discharges between bearing rings in a roller bearing are analyzed by setting a defined operating state based on rotational speed of the roller bearing, temperature of the roller bearing, an imbalance of the roller bearing causing vibrations, lubricants, axial/radial/tilt loads, tilting of the bearing rings relative to each other, pulse shape and pulse repetition rate of an applied electrical voltage, bearing play, and pre-existing damage to the roller bearing. A pulse-shaped electrical voltage between inner and outer bearing ring generates electric arc discharges, wherein for each electric arc discharge a characteristic value representative of energy, power, voltage and/or current and duration of the electric arc discharge is determined. Only those electric arc discharges are evaluated that have a qualifying value determined in accordance with at least one of the characteristic values greater than a predefined limit value.

  • Patent number: 8324887
Abstract: A device for determining the rotational speed of a transmission shaft (12). The device includes a rotational speed indicator (3) connected, in a rotationally fixed manner, to the transmission shaft (12) and at least one rotation speed sensor (2) including at least one sensor element (10). By way of the sensor element (10), the speed of the transmission shaft (12) is detected via the speed indicator (3). The speed sensor (2) is attached to a shifting element (5) for actuating a sliding sleeve (4) of a clutch device (1) that is connected to the transmission shaft (12) in such a manner that the sliding sleeve (4) axially movable on but fixed so as not to rotate.

  • Patent number: 7534045
Abstract: To provide an IC-tagged bearing device, in which the IC tag can easily and assuredly fitted to the bearing device and can easily be protected from an environment of elevated temperature. A sealing member 5 for sealing a bearing space delimited between inner and outer races 1 and 2 has the IC tag 9 attached thereto. The sealing member 5 includes a core metal 6 provided with an elastic element 7, which is made of rubber or resin, and the IC tag 9 is held embedded in this elastic element 7. The IC tag 9 may be fixedly either bonded by vulcanization or engaged in a groove defined in the elastic element 7.
