Patent number: 9899156Abstract: An inline reed relay comprises at least one reed assembly, at least one pair of metal pins, a housing and a control pin disposed on the housing. The reed assembly comprises at least two reed switches, each having two pins. The metal pins are respectively connected to the two pins of the reed switches. One end of each metal pin extends out of the housing. The inline reed relay allows the reed switches to be integrated through the injection molded housing, and the reed switches are connected to an external circuit board via the metal pins, because the metal pins can be maintained a fixed shape and difficult to deform. The processing size and position tolerances of the inline reed relay can meet the requirements of mechanized automatic welding, thereby improving welding efficiency and production assembly efficiency and reducing labor costs.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 2014Date of Patent: February 20, 2018Assignee: SHENZHEN ZHIYOU BATTERY INTEGRATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTDInventor: Shugang Gong

Patent number: 7436644Abstract: A solenoid type switch has at least two driving coils. The driving coils turn off a switch with a current for example an overcurrent that flows in the switch. The driving coils are magnetized or demagnetized by a driving circuit so as to turn on or off the switch. The driving circuit magnetizes or demagnetizes the driving coils in accordance with a control signal supplied from a controlling circuit. Patent number: 5999002Abstract: A contact resistance check circuit and method for verifying that a sufficient electrical connection is established between a source and a sense lead of a Kelvin connection. The circuit includes a microprocessor for driving a transformer that is connected to the source/sense probe (i.e., contact resistance) with an input pulse. The input pulse is altered in relation to the magnitude of the contact resistance to produce a check pulse. A comparator is used to compare the check pulse with a threshold voltage and for generating a fault indication signal. A flip flop then stores the fault indication signal so that the fault indication signal may be monitored by the microprocessor.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 1997Date of Patent: December 7, 1999Assignee: Keithley Instruments, Inc.Inventors: Glenn Fasnacht, Wayne Goeke

Patent number: 5933019Abstract: An electro-mechanical reed relay in-circuit test fixture switch is inserted onto a wrapped wire pin extending from the bottom of a socket holding a spring-loaded nail inside a bed-of-nails or equivalent testing fixture. The switch is located at the circuit board being tested and is connected between the pin under test and a remote testing unit. Only the switches required to contact specific nodes for a specific test are actuated, i.e. moving the subject pin's reed relay switch to a closed position, during the actual test sequence. All remaining test wires are turned off, i.e. opened, releasing the electrical connection of long test wires from each of the nodes. Alternatively, all switches can be NC and individual switches, or groups of switches, can be opened to disconnect the electrical connections of the long test wires. Additional testing is performed in a similar method by repeating the steps above for various test sequences and nodes.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 1997Date of Patent: August 3, 1999Inventor: Clayton S.
