  • Patent number: 11279167
Abstract: A combinational template and scale ruler to accurately draw three-dimensional (3D) drawing is disclosed. The scale ruler is a transparent plate, which includes a plurality of apertures disposed at a middle portion. Each aperture defines a substantially continuous linear aperture corresponding to a visible edge of 3D shape. A plurality of indicium is juxtaposed around each aperture to facilitate drawing of the 3D shape. The plurality of indicium is inscribed in surface of the scale ruler. The plurality of indicium is graduated to define angle and size factor of the aperture to facilitate drawing of the 3D shape. The plurality of indicium further includes 3D shape of a cube of the aperture. The plurality of indicium includes information regarding the classification of the 3D shape. The plurality of apertures is arranged in groups and subgroups of the groups based on a type of projection of the 3D shape.

  • Patent number: 7841095
Abstract: The drafting apparatus has only three parts which are the permanently attached first head and blade, the adjustably attached second head, and the thumb screw. The apparatus quickly adjusts to a given surface. If secure attachment is desired, the thumb screw is tightened against the blade to position the second head firmly against a side of the surface opposite the first head. If desired, the second head is easily completely removed, to aid a draftsperson in a given task. The apparatus is not confined to use only on a drafting table. • Publication number: 20020100174
Abstract: A portable saw guide and T-square and method of use where an accurate and straight saw cut is desirable. The T-square saw guide has an alignment arm and a flexible guide arm which can be quickly and accurately secured to a work piece such as a sheet of plywood by a clamping mechanism in order that a worker may use a guide edge of the T-square to accurately maneuver and guide a saw along a desired course despite variations in the surface of the work piece. The guide arm forms a flush linear contact between a surface of the workpiece and the saw guide to compensate for any non planar irregularities such as a bow, sag or warp in the work piece to cause continuous contact between the saw being guided along the guide edge of the T-square to produce a straight cut along the work piece.
