Suction Conveyor Patents (Class 34/581)
  • Publication number: 20100313439
Abstract: A method and system are provided for taking out or culling, transporting and drying of culled or removed wood from a forest, where the wood is ground or cut into small fragments or units, such as chips, powder, or the like, and then transported out of the forest to a collecting and/or processing site. The ground or fragmented wood is transported over long distances, out from the forest, to a remotely placed collecting and/or processing site. The ground or fragmented wood being transported by a flow of air, and wherein the flow of air transporting the fragmented units is supplied with energy to secure reduction of the water content of the fragmented units during the transport.

  • Patent number: 7641769
Abstract: The present invention is a suction box for dehydrating the intermediate form of an inorganic building board during manufacturing or dehydrating the material slurry which is eventually molded into inorganic building boards. The suction box can change the open area ratio of dehydration space easily and can be used with pressure forming machines. The suction box has a frame member with a bottom plate, plural bridge members, plural spacer members and a pair of fixture members. The open area ratio is the space formed between each bridge member, including an interval with the bridge member and an outer frame portion in the frame member with the bottom plate.

  • Patent number: 6978555
Abstract: A conveyor of leaves and other products on a belt for laying the same products as a single layer, includes at least a perforated collection belt, at least a suction hood having a surface provided with holes for passage of air flow, an air suction device coupled to the hood, and dragging elements for the collection belt. The collection belt slides by the dragging elements along the perforated surface of the suction hood. The suction device generates an air flow both through the holes of the surface of the suction hood, and through the holes of the collection belt, allowing the coupling on the collection belt of a single layer of the leaves and other products due to their passage close to the collection belt.

  • Patent number: 5924217
Abstract: A liquid removal conveyor system that includes a liquid permeable conveyor belt, a vertically movable agitator and an air suction plenum. The agitator is positioned below and adjacent to the conveyor belt so that, when the agitator moves up and down, it intermittently deflects the conveyor belt. The air suction plenum is positioned below and adjacent to the conveyor belt near the agitator. As the agitator intermittently deflects the conveyor belt, it jostles the material carried on the conveyor belt and the air suction plenum sucks the liquid off the jostled material. The agitator consists of a rotatable shaft and a lobe attached to the shaft. As the shaft rotates, the lobe intermittently deflects the conveyor belt. The agitator lobe may be constructed as a single elongated member that extends across substantially the full width of the conveyor belt, or it may be constructed as two or more discontinuous segments.
