  • Patent number: 11948446
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for automatic signal detection in an RF environment are disclosed. A sensor device in a nodal network comprises at least one RF receiver, a generator engine, and an analyzer engine. The at least one RF receiver measures power levels in the RF environment and generates FFT data based on power level data. The generator engine calculates a power distribution by frequency of the RF environment in real time or near real time, including a first derivative and a second derivative of the FFT data. The analyzer engine creates a baseline based on statistical calculations of the power levels measured in the RF environment for a predetermined period of time, and identifies at least one signal based on the first derivative and the second derivative of the FFT data in at least one conflict situation from comparing live power distribution to the baseline of the RF environment.

  • Patent number: 11166253
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for utilizing location services of a mesh network to aid in tracking the presence and location of information handling systems in an environment having a large number of systems installed. In one embodiment, each information handling system joins a mesh network to form localized clusters. Mesh network location services aid the new system in finding a vertically-closest node in the cluster or a neighboring cluster. With this information, the new system can determine in which rack the system is installed. This information can then be provided to an inventory management system for inclusion of the information handling system in an inventory tracking database. Embodiments are also configured to determine when an information handling system is removed from the mesh network and can inform the inventory management system of the removal in order to determine whether additional steps need to be taken in response.

  • Patent number: 11087870
Abstract: A system of tracing a dental prosthesis, the prosthesis including an electrical power source coupled with a radio-communications signals transmitter capable of assuming a weakly active state in which it periodically sends out signals at a first transmission frequency, and a highly active state in which it periodically sends out signals at a second, higher transmission frequency, and a presence sensor for sensing presence of the prosthesis in a mouth of a user, capable of delivering information on absence of the prosthesis in the mouth. The transmitter is configured to pass from the weakly active state to the highly active state when the sensor delivers information on absence of the prosthesis in the mouth. The system also includes a base forming a support of the dental prosthesis when not worn by a user, and the transmitter assumes the weakly active state on detecting the prosthesis in proximity to the base.

  • Patent number: 11064039
Abstract: Embodiments described include systems and methods for receiving push notifications for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. Push notifications may be received by an agent or notification listener provided by a client application of a client device. The listener may receive and display notifications for a large plurality of SaaS applications, regardless of whether the SaaS applications are currently active in a browser of the client device. The listener agent may be lightweight, consuming very little memory or processor resources, while being able to handle very large numbers of notifications. This may free up resources on the client device, consume less battery for mobile devices, and provide notification functionality for SaaS applications using native notification techniques without requiring the SaaS application developers to rewrite notification systems or switch to an operating system-provided notification system.

  • Patent number: 11050758
Abstract: A technique for controlling access to a network provides an electronic system that includes multiple antennas located in a physical space. The antennas receive wireless signals at their respective locations from devices within range of the antennas, and the electronic system processes the wireless signals as received by the antennas to measure locations of the devices relative to the antennas. The electronic system then allows or denies access to the network depending on whether the devices' measured locations are inside or outside a predefined physical region relative to the antennas. In this manner, only devices confirmed to be physically present within the predefined region are allowed to access the network. Devices outside the predefined region are physically blocked, such that no wireless communication with the network is possible.

  • Patent number: 11042900
Abstract: Systems, devices, apparatuses, and methods are described for providing robust RFID security and secure targeted information dissemination. Randomized identifiers for RFID tags associated with products for sale are read by readers of user devices having their own randomized identifiers. Information relating to the products is provided to the user devices by information retrieval systems without exposing information related to the user device or a user thereof. Information security is provided through the use of the randomized identifiers that act as proxies or surrogates for users and user devices. Based on the products and associated RFID tags read by the user device, a retailer or manufacturer provides targeted advertising and sales incentives to the user device through the information retrieval system.

  • Patent number: 10909562
Abstract: Techniques for detecting and presenting rewards for presence are disclosed. Presence of a mobile device within a building is detected based on a plurality of triggers including a degradation of a first signal and a concurrent improvement of a second signal. The triggers are identified by a client-side application of the mobile device or a corresponding server-side processor with which the client-side application is in communication and from which the client-side application is configured to automatically receive available rewards. In response to detecting presence within the building, the server-side processor determines that a user of the mobile device is eligible for a reward, and the reward is provided to the user via the client-side application at the mobile device.
