  • Patent number: 11610061
Abstract: Text may be modified according to a specified attribute value, such as changing a 1-star review to a 5-star review. To modify the text, an input sequence of tokens may be obtained corresponding to the text. Mask scores may be computed for the tokens by processing the input sequence of tokens with masking neural network. One or more tokens may be selected using the mask scores, and a masked sequence of tokens may be generated by replacing the selected tokens with a mask token. The masked sequence of tokens may be processed by a language model neural network to select a replacement token for each of the mask tokens. Modified text may then be generated using the selected replacement tokens. The modified text may be used for any appropriate application, such as suggesting messages to users participating in a conversation.

Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide an in-vehicle device, an arrival notification system and an arrival notification method which can enable an arrival of the vehicle to be easily recognized by a user. The objective is achieved by causing a notification device with a communication function to generate a notification sound when the vehicle arrives at a delivery target, which can enable an arrival of the vehicle to be easily recognized by the user. I.e., this can cause the notification device to generate the notification sound more easily and it can be recognized by users more easily than an arrival notification method by merely sending an electronic mail.

  • Patent number: 9396654
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an in-vehicle traffic information notification device which, even when it is difficult to specify a traveling route of an own car, can notify adequate traffic information to users. A passage probability calculator of the traffic information notification device calculates a passage probability which is a probability that the own car passes an occurrence position of each traffic hazard obtained by a traffic information receiver, based on a current position of the own car detected by a current position detector and traveling history data stored in a traveling history data storage. A display unit and a sound output unit notify occurrence information of the traffic hazard to the user by a mode corresponding to the passage probability of the traffic hazard.

  • Patent number: 9215311
Abstract: According to an aspect, a mobile electronic device includes a communication unit, and a control unit. The communication unit communicates with a server that causes a terminal to display a virtual object associated with position information in such a way that the virtual object is superimposed on an image captured by the terminal. When a position of the mobile electronic device changes, the control unit generates mark information based on the changed position. The control unit causes the communication unit to transmit the generated mark information, as the position information, to the server.

  • Patent number: 8914226
Abstract: Devices, methods, and programs access map information including link information related to links that constitute a road, acquire a current location of a vehicle at unit time intervals, and acquire traffic information, which includes a distributed traffic congestion level of each link at predetermined time intervals. Each time the vehicle exits a link, the devices, methods, and programs sequentially store the exited link in an exited link train based on the map information. If the traffic information has been received, the devices, methods, and program store the distributed traffic congestion level included in the received traffic information as a traffic congestion level in association with a portion of the exited link train within a range from the current location at a received time point when the traffic information has been received to a location that is a predetermined distance behind the current location at the received time point.

Abstract: A method is provided for outputting navigation instructions in a motor vehicle having a navigation system and a head-up display. Graphical navigation instructions are output in at least three instruction categories which differ substantially in terms of the graphical level of detail of the particular navigation instruction, the instruction category being selected based on the distance between the motor vehicle and an action point for the navigation maneuver. Navigation instructions in the category for short distances include a perspective lane-exact representation of a map section relevant to the navigation maneuver in the head-up display, a first driving line which is proposed by the navigation system is depicted in the map section in a lane-exact manner by way of a first graphical line object and an alternative second driving line is also depicted in a lane-exact manner by way of a second graphical line object differing from the first line object.

  • Patent number: 8818340
Abstract: In a method data are collected about users of mobile telephones which are present within a plurality of defined cells between two specified points in time. For this purpose a list of telephone numbers of mobile telephones is retrieved from a data base, which mobile telephones were located in the defined cells between the two specified points in time. The list of telephone numbers is converted into unique numbers to avoid violation of privacy. Subsequently, the cells are defined in which the housing locations of the users of these mobile telephones are situated. This is effected by sending non-noticeable text messages to mobile telephones on various days at a number of different points in time at which most people are expected to be at home. Based on these text messages the locations of the mobile telephones are established.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product which normalizes GPS data obtained from multiple vehicles. At a server, GPS information is received from first and second vehicles in first and second formats. The GPS data is normalized for synchronized display of positions of the first and second vehicles, and transmitted to a computer in order to display simultaneously the synchronized positions of the first and second vehicles. An end user of the system may search for GPS logs of other people and simultaneously display the information resulting from the search with his or her own GPS information. Abstract: A communication apparatus is installed in a vehicle. A time information obtaining unit obtains a current time. A state information obtaining unit repeatedly obtains state information representing a state of an own vehicle at the current time. An own vehicle information generating unit estimates predicted arrival positions at specific times between the current time and a specified time, and repeatedly generates own vehicle information including the current position and the predicted arrival positions. An information transmitting unit transmits the own vehicle information. An information storage unit stores the own vehicle information into a first storage section as past own vehicle information. The information transmitting unit obtains an information coincidence degree representing the degree of the coincidence between current own vehicle information and the past own vehicle information, and transmits the current own vehicle information if the information coincidence degree is less than a specified threshold.

A CPU controls a video camera to fetch an image and controls a GPS to detect a current position. The CPU reads out, from within image data stored in a corresponding relationship with URLs of WWW servers, those image data which correspond to position data regarding positions around the detected current position from a WWW data base via a modem and a host machine. Then, the CPU selects, from among the read out image data, that image data which matches with the fetched data, reads out a URL corresponding to the image data and accesses a WWW server designated by the URL.
