  • Patent number: 11567721
Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure provides for customizing electronic page display based on user interactions. In an embodiment, a web page is displayed in response to a first request. The selection points on the web page are received, and new values are computed for the parameters defining the display characteristics of some of the interactive elements based on the selection points received on the displayed web page. The web page is thereafter sent for display based on the new value for such interactive elements. In one embodiment, the new value corresponds to a width or height parameter, and the size of a first element is increased upon mis-selections found associated with the first element. In another embodiment, the new value corresponds to an inter-element distance between a pair of elements, when mis-selections are found associated with one of the pair of elements.

  • Patent number: 9697631
Abstract: A vector data processor (12) includes a thinning part (301), a central line acquiring part (302), and a superimposing part (303). A target figure includes a linear figure. The thinning part (301) processes target vector data (231) to acquire thinned data (232) by thinning the target figure indicated by the target vector data (231). The central line acquiring part (302) processes the target vector data (231) to acquire central line data (233) that indicates a central line of the target figure. The superimposing part (303) generates data that includes an instruction to record a combined figure obtained by superimposing the thinned figure and the central line one above the other. Superimposing the thinned figure and the central line enables the target figure to be thinned without line becoming broken. The shape of a rasterized figure can be approximated to the shape of a figure indicated by original data.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure may provide a method and apparatus of testing a computer program. The method may include acquiring first display data of a character region in a Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the computer program. The method may also include reducing display size setting of an original character string associated with the character region. The method may also include acquiring second display data of the character region in refreshed GUI. The method may further include generating a message indicating character truncation when there is a difference other than actual display size of character between the first display data and the second display data. With the technical solution provided by embodiments of the disclosure, character truncation existing in a GUI may be automatically detected.

  • Patent number: 9171384
Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for providing hands-free augmented reality on a wireless communication device (WCD). According to the techniques, an application processor within the WCD executes an augmented reality (AR) application to receive a plurality of image frames and convert the plurality of image frames into a single picture comprising the plurality of image frames stitched together to represent a scene. The WCD executing the AR application then requests AR content for the scene represented in the single picture from an AR database server, receives AR content for the scene from the AR database server, and processes the AR content to overlay the single picture for display to a user on the WCD. In this way, the user may comfortably look at the single picture with the overlaid AR content on a display of the WCD to learn more about the scene represented in the single picture.

Abstract: A host computer is connected to a printer that prints text according to settings specifying a text printing format. Using a function of a driver setup program, the host computer acquires a file set including an MOT file (recording device settings data) and a corresponding INF file (control device settings data) that are configured to produce the same or substantially the same printout as a printer with different printing format specifications, and configures settings stored in a registry that is referenced by a printer driver based on the acquired INF file. Using a function of a firmware setup program, the host computer generates or updates settings based on the MOT file.
