Abstract: The present invention discloses a method to display a depth fused display. The method includes the following steps. First, a depth fused display that includes a first panel and a second panel is provided. The first panel can display a first image, the second panel can display a second image, and the two panels are disposed in parallel and opposite to each other. Then, the view angle signal of an observer is detected, and the relative position of the first image and the second image is adjusted according to the view angle signal of the observer such that the observer may perceive a stereoscopic image.

  • Patent number: 7782382
Abstract: First pixels and second pixels are arranged in an LCD of a digital camera. Image light from the first pixel is diffused by a diffusing filter. Image light from the second pixel is deflected by a prism and directed in an oblique direction. When the LCD is viewed from a forward direction, only a captured image generated by the first pixels is observed. When the LCD is viewed from the oblique direction, the captured image, and camera information generated by the second pixels are observed in a state that they overlap each other.

  • Patent number: 7633461
Abstract: The graphics display system comprises a plurality of heads. Each of the heads includes a VGA controller and each of the heads is adapted for a display. The display system also includes a host coupled to the heads, wherein all the standard VGA settings for each of the heads could be programmed by a single command by the host. A method and system in accordance with the invention includes one VGA controller per head. In a broadcast mode a write transaction from the bus is broadcast to both heads. The output timing registers specific to a non-CRT output are not broadcast. To provide broadcast VGA to a CRT and/or a flat panel, software sets up the timing in extended registers and enables the display devices. The VGA application can provide mode settings via the appropriate write VGA registers and the correct display will be on each head.

Abstract: By opening and closing the sub display with respect to the main display D1 via a hinge H mounted on the side portion, a variety of uses, such as to display different information on the two different displays, are easily realized, whereby easily supporting diversification of displayed information expected in the future and improvement of the functions. The sub display can be rotated upside down in addition to the horizontal open/close movement with respect to the main display D1, thereby increasing the possible states of use. When the sub display is rotated upside down by 180°, each button B and the markings marked thereon rotates and inverted as well, the marking is shown in the normal orientation, but not inverted orientation as a consequent, thereby facilitating identification and operation of each button. The state of currently selected/connected source is displayed on one of the main display D1 and the sub display.

  • Patent number: RE40821
Abstract: A portable or other electronic device has two or more display devices or screens that can be used to display different subsets of image signals. The effect is that the device simulates the display capabilities of devices having much larger screens. The device has an open or active configuration, in which the multiple screens are available for displaying image signals, and a closed or inactive configuration, in which some or all of the multiple screens are folded together or otherwise stowed away to reduce the size of the device for storage and/or carrying. By simulating large-display operations, electronic devices according to the present invention are capable of presenting more useable information to the user than is otherwise possible using prior art devices having a single small screen.
