  • Patent number: 9578225
Abstract: When an image is photographed vertically, vertical position information is added to the image. When an upside-down image is photographed, data itself is rotated by 180 degrees and recorded. Thus, when the image is reproduced by a general another reproducing apparatus, the image can be viewed with the too and bottom thereof being normally positioned.

  • Patent number: 9405407
Abstract: A projector includes a light source, a projection component, a photodetector, and an inclination calculator. The light source outputs light. The projection component projects an image on a projection surface by scanning the light outputted by the light source at an angle to the projection surface. The photodetector detects, as a reflected light, the light that has been scanned by the projection component and reflected by a detection object within a light detection range of the photodetector. The light detection range is set to a predetermined range in a direction perpendicular to the projection surface. The inclination calculator calculates an inclination angle of the detection object in a sub-scanning direction of the light based on a position of the detection object on the projection surface and a number of times the reflected light is detected while scanning in the sub-scanning direction.

  • Patent number: 9313400
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a linking-up photographing system and a control method of linked-up cameras thereof including the following steps. A first image is acquired via a first camera. A second image is acquired via a second camera and presents a field of view (FOV) which partially overlaps a FOV of the first image at least. A control look-up table is established according to the first image and the second image. A designating command specifying a region of interest (ROI) in the first image is received. A FOV of the second camera is adjusted according to the ROI and the control look-up table, and then the second camera photographs a view specified by the ROI, so as to obtain a third image. In this way, the second camera can link up and cooperate with the first camera easily.

  • Patent number: 9244609
Abstract: A touch control method and a touch control electronic apparatus are provided. The touch control electronic apparatus comprises an angle database, a function database, a touch panel and a central processing unit (CPU). The touch panel senses a plurality of touch points. The CPU calculates a plurality of touch angles according to the touch points, and stores the touch angles to an angle queue. The CPU accesses a comparative model from the angle database, and compares the angle queue with the comparative model to generate a plurality of comparative results. The CPU sequentially stores the comparative results to a comparative queue. The CPU accesses a result queue from the function database, and determines whether the comparative queue matches the result queue. The CPU performs a function operation corresponding to the result queue if the comparative queue matches the result queue.

  • Patent number: 9244590
Abstract: Processes for navigating a three-dimensional (3D) environment using a two-dimensional (2D) input are provided. In some examples, a pair of touch points may be detected, and movement of a third touch point may be used to manipulate a 3D object or navigate a view point in 3D space. Different 2D and 3D input modes may also be provided that allow, for example, similar gestures to perform different commands in different modes. Multiple 3D modes may include a first mode that allows the user to navigate in a 3D environment and a second mode that allows the user to manipulate a 3D object using similar commands.

Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a computer-implemented method is performed at a portable multifunction device with a rectangular touch screen display that includes a portrait view and a landscape view. The method includes detecting the device in a first orientation, and while the device is in the first orientation, displaying an application in a first mode on the touch screen display in a first view. The method also includes detecting the device in a second orientation, and in response to detecting the device in the second orientation, displaying the application in a second mode on the touch screen display in a second view. The first mode of the application differs from the second mode of the application by more than a change in display orientation.

Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing a lens view associated with a map canvas. The map canvas may depict an area comprising one or more locations associated with imagery of such locations (e.g., a map of a shopping district may comprise a toy store associated with imagery of the toy store). Accordingly, the map canvas may be populated with a lens view depicting a location within the map canvas (e.g., depicting imagery of the toy store). A correspondence between a lens heading of the lens view and a map heading of the map canvas may be maintained. For example, responsive to rotation of the map canvas changing a current map heading of the map canvas to a rotated map heading, a current lens heading of the lens view maybe modified to a rotated lens heading corresponding to the rotated map heading.

  • Patent number: 9030610
Abstract: High definition media content processing techniques are described in which enhanced media content rendering techniques may be performed to output high definition media content. In an implementation, luma keying may be provided to define clear pixels in a composite output using an optimum set of graphics processing instructions. In another implementation, techniques are described which may provide clear rectangles in a composite output of one or more video streams. Clear rectangles to appear in the composite output are configured by a media playback application. A texture is arrived at to represent a union of each of the clear rectangles and is applied to form the clear rectangles in the composite output. In another implementation, capture techniques are described in which an image to capture is resolved as strips to an intermediate texture and then from the texture to a capture buffer in system memory.
