Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for and method of stabilizing a picture in an image system during the changing of a broadcast channel. Since channel altering causes noise in synchronization, and an unstable picture when performing automatic frequency tuning (AFT) and automatic gain control (AGC), an image signal of the previous channel is stored in an image memory before being changed, and output onto the screen using a switch controlled by a microcomputer during the unstable period for AFT and AGC, instead of the image signal of the altered channel. The image signal of the altered channel is output after the output of an automatic controlled is stabilized.
Abstract: An image signal inputting and outputting apparatus has a memory device for temporarily storing image signals. In addition, the image signal inputting and outputting apparatus includes an A/D converter for converting analog image signals to digital image signals. The apparatus further includes a memory controller for writing the digital image signals into the memory device and reading out the image signals written in the memory device, and a controller for enabling the A/D converter to hold blanking level data converted by the A/D converter after the A/D converter converts effective signals of the image signals.
Abstract: A reproducing apparatus with simultaneous parallel processing of different image signals includes a storage device for storing a plurality of image signals supplied sequentially, each of the stored image signals representing a different image. A first structure is provided for reading out image signals stored in the storage device and supplying the read out image signals sequentially to an output terminal. A second structure is provided for separately storing outputting one image signal from among the plurality of stored image signals while image signals are being supplied sequentially from the first structure to the output terminal.
