Abstract: Disclosed is a display method of a display panel. The display panel includes two display screens arranged opposite to each other, and the display method of the display panel includes: acquiring a liquid crystal response duration of each display screen upon receiving image information to be displayed; taking a display screen having a shorter liquid crystal response duration as a first display screen, and taking a display screen having a longer liquid crystal response duration as a second display screen; and driving the second display screen to display, and delaying to drive the first display screen to display. A display device and a display panel are also disclosed. The display panel of the present application has a good display effect.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a control method for an image acquisition device, a control device therefor, and a storage medium, relate to the field of the image acquisition device, and aim to realize synchronization of an operation timing signal of the image acquisition device and an external trigger signal. The method comprises: receiving image data acquired by the image acquisition device; analyzing the image data, obtaining an image timing according to an analysis result, and determining a frame synchronization signal of the image data output by the image acquisition device according to the image timing; determining a phase offset between the frame synchronization signal and a preset trigger signal; and adjusting a phase of a control signal based on the phase offset, wherein the control signal is configured for adjusting an operation timing of the image acquisition device.
Abstract: A method and system for dynamically watermarking media content based on transport-stream metadata, to facilitate action by a downstream entity. An intermediary in a media-distribution path could receive a transport stream carrying media content and carrying metadata that is not watermarked in the media content. The intermediary could then obtain from the transport stream the metadata that is not watermarked in the media content and could modify the media content at least by encoding into the media content a watermark that represents the obtained metadata. And the intermediary could then output at least the modified media content for transmission to a downstream entity. The downstream entity could thus obtain from the watermark in the media content the metadata and could use the metadata to facilitate carrying out one or more useful actions.

Abstract: Oscillator quick-startup circuit and method in which a voltage step is applied to a resonator (crystal) resulting in ringing which is amplified and fed into a locking circuit which locks to it, such as a programmable delay circuit. Once locking is complete, then the circuit is switched into a standalone oscillator mode, having a feedback path, the output of this injection oscillator energizes the resonator for achieving quick startup of a primary oscillator, in response to it automatically adjusting injection oscillator frequency to match the frequency of the resonator. A digital circuit controls the configuring of the circuit for applying the voltage step, adjusting the locking circuit, and then switching into a standalone oscillator mode.

Abstract: System and methods for facilitating content watch parties may include a sync server having a server CPU, a host user device, a client user device, and a content provider. The content provider may first provide a first portion of the content independently to the host user device and the client user device. The content provider may second provide a second portion of the content to the host user device and the client user device. The first providing of the first portion of the content may occur separately of the second providing of the second portion of the content. The sync server may synchronize the second providing of the second portion of the content to the client user device to facilitate substantially simultaneously presentations of the second portion of the content by the host user device and the client user device.

The WTRU, or other network entity, may use the decoding complexity determine its preferences regarding transmission of the media content. The content providing device may determine whether to transmit the media content based on the decoding complexity and/or the preferences of the WTRU or other network entity.

Abstract: A method of adapting content-stream bandwidth includes generating a content stream for transmission over an unmanaged network with varying capacity and sending the content stream toward a client device. The method includes monitoring the capacity of the unmanaged network and determining whether an aggregate bandwidth of an upcoming portion of the content stream fits the capacity. The upcoming portion of the content stream includes video content and user-interface data. The method further includes, in response to a determination that the aggregate bandwidth of the upcoming portion of the content stream does not fit the capacity, prioritizing low latency for the user-interface data over maintaining a frame rate of the video content when the user-interface data is the result of a user interaction and reducing a size of the upcoming portion of the content stream in accordance with the prioritizing. The reducing comprises decreasing the frame rate of the video content.
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to perform speed-enhanced playback of recorded media are disclosed. An example method includes parsing an audio frame included in the media to determine a number of skip bytes included in the audio frame, identifying the audio frame as a candidate frame when the number of skip bytes satisfies a skip bytes threshold, and calculating a speed-enhanced playback rate for the media based on a plurality of candidate frames identified in the media.
Abstract: Methods, systems and machine readable storage medium for allowing playback of streaming media at playback rates of other than 1× are described. In one embodiment, a method can determine different sets of I-frames that are available before a display deadline, where each set can have a different cadence, and one of the sets can be selected for download and display to achieve playback at other than 1×.
