  • Patent number: 4883352
Abstract: A deep-UV step-and-repeat photolithography system includes a narrow-bandwidth pulsed excimer laser illumination source and an all-fused-silica lens assembly. The system is capable ofline definition at the 0.5-micrometer level. One significant feature of the system is its ability to perform wafer focus tracking by simply changing the frequency of the laser.

  • Patent number: 4208102
Abstract: An enlargement system has a light guide mounted inside the lens mount to reflect light from inside the enlarger on to a stop-value scale. A light shut-off ring is positioned relative to the light guide to selectively allow or cut-off the passage of light. In a first position a cut away portion allows light from inside the enlarger to pass through the light guide and illuminate the scale. When the system is used for close-up photography, the shut-off ring is rotated to prevent light that enters through the scale into the light guide from propagating into the enlarger.

  • Patent number: 4023893
Abstract: A retrofit assembly for replacing a lens-containing lamp in an overhead projector. The assembly comprises a quartz-halogen lamp, having an internal reflector and an enlarged base removably mounted in the projector, and a lens holding bracket removably mounted in the projector in alignment with the lamp. The bracket is resiliently pivoted toward the lamp and has a tab for striking the lamp base to retain the lens at a predetermined distance from the lamp.
