Slides Reciprocated Horizontally From Magazine Patents (Class 353/92)
  • Patent number: 8746900
Abstract: The present invention provides a sliding lens cover mechanism for a projector, which enables enhancement in operability and prevention of noise, and the sliding lens cover mechanism includes: a front panel that allows the projection lens to be exposed from a part thereof; a lens cover that moves over said front panel, from fully-open state in which the projection lens is exposed and a fully-closed state in which said lens cover covers the projection lens; and a slide device unit that biases the lens cover to move to a fully-open state or to a fully-closed state or to an intermediate state, wherein the lens cover includes a pin that protrudes toward the front panel; and wherein the front panel includes a slide plate that abuts against the pin only in the fully open state or in the fully closed state.

  • Patent number: 7993017
Abstract: A projection display apparatus 101 in which the light quantity adjusting means has a simple and readily interchangeable structure, and which can improve image quality by adjusting the quantity of light received by a light valve continuously, without causing illuminance irregularities, and without having unwanted light radiated onto the screen, the light quantity adjusting means 9 having light blocking members 91L, 91R for blocking light in transit to a second lens array 22, and rotational axes 91LA, 91RA for turnably supporting each of the light blocking members on an xy plane, the light blocking members 91L, 91R and rotational axes 91LA, 91RA being positioned so that the rotational axes 91LA, 91RA are disposed in positions symmetric with respect to the optical axis AX on the xy plane, and the turning range from the light blocking initiation position at which the light blocking members 91L, 91R, by being turned, start to block light in transit toward the second lens array 22 to the maximum light blocking posi

  • Patent number: 4854697
Abstract: In a mixing projector, a guide element for the slide magazine extends transversely with respect to the optical axes of the objective lens systems of the optical assembly. Disposed between the two projector units for projecting the respective slides is a main slider member which is displaceable parallel to the optical axes of the optical assembly, for transportation of slides between the magazine and a slide turning mechanism which turns the respective slides through 90.degree.. Transverse slider members then provide for transportation of the turned slides into and out of the positions thereof for projection through the objective lenses of the optical assembly.

  • Patent number: 4429963
Abstract: A slide transfer and shutter control arrangement is provided for a slide projector including a simplified shutter control arrangement and a positive acting slide sensor arm that is slidably mounted for shifting translation. Slide transfer is accomplished by a vertically movable lifter arm operated by a level wind screw. The level wind screw also operates a cam actuator. The cam actuator moves up and down with the lifter arm to actuate a slider member. The slider member controls the position of the slide sensor arm and provides shutter latch control. The slide sensor arm retains the shutter in the closed position when no slide is present and the slider member is actuated by the cam actuator to release the shutter latch. When a slide is sensed by the slide sensor arm, the slide sensor arm releases the shutter for projection of the slide at the slide transfer station. Slide face tension is appropriately provided by a face tension arrangement under the control of the cam actuator.

  • Patent number: 4309087
Abstract: A slide projector having a slidably movable magazine with slides, a platform to receive a slide from the magazine, a first support member to transport a slide from the magazine into the platform and a second support to return the used slide from the platform into the magazine. The first support is rigidly mounted on a slidably movable carriage and adapted to push each successive slide from the magazine when the latter is in alignment with the platform. The second support is pivotally mounted on the slide carriage which moves in the direction toward or backward from the magazine. The second support is a three-linked member adapted to engage the used slide to push the latter back to the magazine and having a pin between a first lever and a second lever. A cammed surface is provided in the housing which engages the pin upon slidable movement of the carriage.

  • Patent number: 4130353
Abstract: A slide projector with controls for the slide changing system and for the stop associated with the slide changing system where there are separately moving insertion and storage feeder arms for the slide changer, and at least two routes for inserting and removing the slides. Preferred motor driven cams (B",R",S",T") act as controls for the stop (8,11) and for slide changing and are operationally timed so that the closing process for the stop is initiated simultaneously or nearly simultaneously with the beginning of the removal of the projected slide (19a) from the slide stage plane and with the insertion of a new slide (19c). The process of stop opening begins immediately and without any pause after the complete closure of the stop which coincides with the terminated insertion of the new slide.
