  • Publication number: 20150043134
Abstract: A set of circuit interrupters and electrical enclosures that are configured to permit an electrical enclosure having a current rating to have connected therewith a circuit interrupter having a current carrying rating no greater than the current rating. However, a current interrupter having a current carrying rating less than the current rating of the electrical enclosure potentially may be connected therewith. Such electrical interruption equipment employs threaded studs on bus bars that are of varying sizes and/or are separated by varying distances in order to resist an electrical enclosure having a current rating from being electrically connected with a circuit interrupter having a current carrying rating greater than the current rating.

  • Patent number: 7978458
Abstract: A locking device for an electric switch is disclosed which is movably guided in a withdrawable rack via an actuating shaft wherein the electric switch is placed in a preferred position, in particular in a disconnected position. In at least one embodiment, the locking device is movable from a release position in which the switch is displaceable in the withdrawable rack to a locking position in which the locking device blocks the switch displacement in a predetermined direction and the actuating shaft is actuated via an actuating crank. In order to safe the switch locking in the preferred position thereof, the locking device is movable to the locking position when the actuating crank actuation is blocked, only. The withdrawable rack, provided with the inventive locking device for the electric switch displaceable in the withdrawable rack via the actuating shaft, is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7869194
Abstract: At least one embodiment of the invention provides that, for a closing apparatus for a part rack withdrawable via V-shaped rod assemblies, the closing apparatus includes at least one pin formed on rod assemblies or as part of them, each pin engaging in a slot in an actuating element. Owing to the use of the slots, the actuating element can be formed as a rigid body, with the result that no frictional forces need to be overcome when inserting a circuit breaker into a withdrawable-part rack with the closing apparatus according to at least one embodiment of the invention. With the closing apparatus according to at least one embodiment of the invention, a locking element can have a particularly simple design: it can be guided in the actuating element.

  • Patent number: 6718408
Abstract: An input/output module for a computer having one, or multiple, input/output connectors that interface external devices with components in a computer. The input/output module is removable from the computer and interchangeable with a different input/output module having a different input/output connector than the first input/output module. The input/output module passes unmodified signals, and/or processes signals and passes modified signals, between the external devices and the computer components.

  • Patent number: 6416702
Abstract: A circuit breaker assembly including a first and second circuit breakers each having toggle switch assemblies movable between ON and OFF positions. The toggle switch assemblies have connectors coupled thereto for preventing both circuit breakers from being in the ON position at the same time.

  • Patent number: 6108178
Abstract: A child safety outlet cover that plugs into and completely covers electrical wall outlets. The outlet cover has a door on the front of the cover which allows power cords to plug into a wall outlet and yet the plugs and outlet remain covered. The door is equipped with a childproof safety latch to keep children from opening the door. If the door is opened an alarm will sound and electricity to the outlet cover will shut off. Even with the door closed there is no power to the outlet cover unless a power cord is plugged into the outlet cover.
