Abstract: A support apparatus supports an electronic device on a supporting surface. The support apparatus includes a first support leg and a second support leg. One end of the first support leg is rotatably connected to the electronic device, and the first support leg defines a receiving space therein. One end of the second support leg is rotatably connected to an opposite end of the first support leg. When in a closed state, the support apparatus is completely stowed in the electronic device. When the support apparatus is in a first inclined state, the second support leg is received in the receiving space but the support apparatus is oriented in a position obliquely unfolded from the electronic device. When in a second inclined state, the support apparatus is oriented in the position obliquely unfolded from the electronic device, but the second support leg is unfolded from the receiving space.

  • Patent number: 8902575
Abstract: An exemplary support assembly is provided for supporting an electronic device on a supporting surface. The support assembly includes a shell receiving the electronic device, and a back-support. The shell defines an elongated sliding rail. The back-support includes a prop stand, and a prop seat slidable in the sliding rail. One side of the prop stand is rotatably engaged in the prop seat and serves as a spindle. The other sides of the prop stand are thus movable between a folded position substantially coplanar with the prop seat and a supporting position angled relative to the prop seat. When the other sides of the prop stand are in the supporting position, a tilt angle of the electronic device on the supporting surface is adjustable by sliding the prop seat in the sliding rail.

  • Patent number: 8848365
Abstract: An electronic device in which a holding member for holding an external instrument is arranged rotatably on a housing section, and a restricting part for restricting, at a predetermined angle, rotation angle of the holding member is formed on an inner wall of the housing section. The holding member makes contact with a front side surface engaged with a connector of the external instrument. The restricting part restricts rotation of the holding member whose back surface facing the front side surface is exposed from the housing section. When holding member includes a guiding part that guides the external instrument in a direction that detaches it from the housing section when the holding member is further rotated beyond the restriction by the restricting part, the external instrument can be detached from the housing section when the rotation is equal to or larger than a restriction angle defined by the restricting part.
