Abstract: A textile includes a plurality of opaque filaments, a plurality of transparent and light-guiding filaments, a lighting module and a printed colorful layer. The opaque filaments are spaced from each other in a first direction, and the transparent and light-guiding filaments are spaced from each other in a second direction. The opaque filaments and the transparent and light-guiding filaments are woven as a textile. The printed colorful layer is formed on the surfaces of the opaque filaments and the transparent and light-guiding filaments. When the lighting module provides light in the transparent and light-guiding filaments, the transparent and light-guiding filaments are lighted as a lighting area. Therefore, the printed colorful layer is also lighted, and the colors and patterns thereof are shown.

  • Patent number: 8061848
Abstract: Methods and apparatus provide for Reveal. Reveal includes a lens and a light source mounted within a housing. The light source projects light through the lens onto a projection surface. A first slide, a second slide and a motion slide are mounted in the housing between the light source and the lens. The first slide causes light from the light source to project a first defined image upon the projection surface. The second slide, which is less focused than the first defined image, causes light from the light source to project a second defined image upon the projection surface. The motion slide includes motion elements movable in response to a stimulus, such as airflow. Movement by the motion elements introduce an interference in light cast by the light source onto the projection surface. The interference provides an appearance of movement of an image projected by the second slide.

  • Patent number: 8038326
Abstract: An ornamental lamp comprises a barrel holder, an LED lamp set and a lamp shade. The barrel holder includes an opening, two electric connecting ports communicating with the opening and two elastic holding struts held in the opening. The elastic holding struts and the inner edge of the opening form a housing space therebetween. The two elastic holding struts are divided by a notch in the middle. The LED lamp set has two conductive pins running through the electric connecting ports to receive electric power. The LED lamp set has a lower edge butting the elastic holding struts. The lamp shade is wedged in the housing space and pushes the elastic holding struts inwards during wedging to bend slightly towards the notch. The bent portion of the elastic holding struts generates an elastic returning force to clamp the lamp shade in a compact manner.

The light source is configured to produce light therefrom when energized. The tower includes a cylindrical outer body that is coupled to and positioned a second distance from the center of the base, wherein the second distance is greater than the first distance. The outer body is oriented to extend vertically from the surface and is configured to allow light from the light source to pass therethrough. A plurality of leaves are coupled to an outer surface of the outer body and are configured to hang therefrom. The leaves are configured to freely move with respect to the outer body when air flow is applied thereto, wherein light from the light source is viewable through the outer body when the leaves move.
