Abstract: A light-fixture shade-assembly mounting apparatus is operatively coupled to a light fixture via a plurality of coupling members, such as hinged limbs. A hinged limb may be coupled to a shade-assembly via a peg inserted through a bore. A locking mechanism may secure the shade assembly into a normal-operation position and may allow the shade assembly to be lowered into a bulb-replacement position. The locking mechanism may include a locking cam having an angled surface so that, as the locking cam engages a portion of the light fixture and rotates, the inclined surface of the locking cam will cause the position of the shade assembly to become higher or lower with respect to the light fixture. The locking mechanism may include a visual indication, such as an arrow, which allows a person to determine the locking cam's orientation relative to a locked position and an unlocked position.

Abstract: A lamp connection port connected to a ceiling fan assembly includes an open end which is enclosed by a skirt portion of the connection port. A plurality of flexible protrusions extend inward from an inside of the skirt portion and a first end of a lamp shade is engaged in the open end of the lamp connection port. The first end of the lamp shade has a flange and a groove is defined in an outer periphery of the lamp shade. The flexible protrusions are engaged with the groove of the lamp shade.

Abstract: A structure of fully enveloped miniature lamp bulb for lamp strings suitable for mass production and having any of varied appearances is disclosed. The lamp bulb has two electrode pins with a predetermined distance therebetween and being connected in the glass body thereof to a light emitting tungsten filament, parts of the electrode pins are extended out of the bottom of the glass body for connecting to a conductor pair. A transparent cover having any of various kinds of modeling which are made separately with dies is provided with an assembling hole of a size mating with that of the lamp bulb and extending inwardly for a suitable depth from an end thereof; the miniature lamp bulb connected with the conductors is placed in the assembling hole by assistance of a positioning block, the connecting area is sealed with adhesive agent to complete assembling of the structure.

Abstract: In a projection apparatus, a light beam emitted by a light source is guided to a modulation element for forming an image. The light beam emerged from the modulation element is projected onto a screen by a projection lens. An image of the light source is formed as a first light source image by a first optical system. The light beam from the modulation element illuminated with light emanating from the first light source image is imaged by a second optical system as a second light source image at a potion in the vicinity of an aperture of a stop of the projection lens. A peripheral portion of the first light source image is intercepted by another stop located at a potion conjugate with the stop of the projection lens.

Abstract: A mini lamp is disclosed. The mini lamp of the present invention comprises a lamp head, a lampshade, a power source circuit component, a circuit and LED. The mini lamp is connected to the lamp head by means of the lamp seat and the mini lamp is connected to the power source. The lampshade covers the power source circuit component and the combination of circuit and LED components, and the internal components are protected. The power source circuit component is soldered on the lamp head and the bottom lampshade. The circuit and LED components comprise IC and a plurality of LEDs. The IC controls LED so as to provide colorful flickering of light.

Abstract: A bulb shade includes a light-transmissible hood portion having a bottom opening, a horizontal flange surrounding the bottom opening and a stepped shoulder close to the bottom opening, and a bulb-mounting seat provided with a connecting hole and a plurality of radiating holes and adapted to locate in the hood portion and abut on the stepped shoulder. A bulb base is detachably connected to the connecting hole on the bulb-mounting seat with a bulb connected thereto upward extended into the hood portion. The bulb shade may be directly connected to individual bulb base included in a light string to protect the bulbs thereof, or be attached to and extended into an inflatable toy of other type of decorative articles to isolate a decorative bulb in the bulb shade from the toy or the article.

Abstract: A lampshade mounting structure includes a hollow conical lampshade, the lampshade having a mounting hole, a mounting socket, the mounting socket having a smoothly curved mounting flange attached to the outside wall of the lampshade around the mounting hole, a connector adapted to connect the lampshade to a support arm, the connector having a tubular shank inserted through the mounting socket, a threaded neck at one end of the shank, and an expanded coupling portion at the other end of the shank, a lock nut threaded onto the threaded neck to secure the connector and the mounting socket to the lampshade, and a packing plate coupled to the threaded neck of the connector and retained between the peripheral wall of the lampshade and the locknut.

The insulating body has two receiving spaces therein and two insertion holes. The two fixing members each has a receiving recess for the conductive plate, one end of the fixing member is inserted and tightened into the receiving space. The two conductive plates each has a first lateral side and a second lateral side. The two conductive plates being arranged within the receiving recesses for a conductive plate; the conductive plate has a bottom end facing the insertion hole. Each of the two resilient members is provided between the insulating body and the conductive plate to enhance the clamping force for the conductive plate. The receiving space has an inner wall provided with an indent groove to prevent dragging out of the fixing member.

Abstract: A lamp assembly having a lamp housing defining an internal cavity with at least one side. The at least one side has an opening. The lamp assembly further includes a heat transfer plate attached to the at least one side, positioned outside of the internal cavity, and at least partially aligned with the opening to transfer heat away from the lamp housing. The lamp assembly may also have a sealing gasket positioned between the heat transfer plate and the at least one side of the lamp housing. In addition, the lamp assembly may further include a bulb shield with an arm connected to the heat transfer plate, and a shell connected to the arm opposite the heat transfer plate. The shell may be adapted to at least partially cover a bulb of the lamp assembly.

Abstract: A lampshade with a plating film layer is disclosed. The lampshade is made by ceramics; and a plating film layer formed by a lower temperature sputter is coated on the lampshade. The color of the plating film layer can be varied and is high temperature tolerable, and has a preferred fireproof effect and a good insulation. Furthermore, the lampshade of the present invention is ceramic and thus it can be reused for meeting the requirement of environment protection. A receiving chamber is installed in the lampshade. A receptacle is elastically supported in the receiving chamber. The inner wall of the receiving chamber has an inner thread. The inner thread and receptacle serves for inputting power so that pins of a bubble are connected to the receptacle or threaded into the inner thread. The present invention is suitable for halogen lamps, light emitting diode bubbles and conventional lamps.

Each flip comprises an arc folding lines and two radial partition folding lines around the central hole, two face folding lines at two lateral edges thereof, and an end folding lines at the outer end thereof. The outer end is provided with an engaging hole. The frame comprises an outer skeleton with skeleton sections, a central ring and radial liking ribs. Each of the skeleton sections at the middle portion thereof has an inward engaging tab with a through hole to engage with the engaging hole on the flip. A shade is formed by way of all the folding lines on the shade part being folded and the folded shade part being fitted with the frame.

Light from the bulb passes through the marbles so as to create a multi-colored effect.

Abstract: A lens cover for covering the lens of a traffic signal when the signal is not in service. The lens cover is made of a black polyethylene flat tubing which is cut and sealed on one end and has an open end to fit over traffic light lens shields. The lens cover is completely opaque and thus prevents light from the lens passing through. Thus, motorists are not confused with respect to the traffic light being in an operating state. The lens cover also has an observation hole at the bottom which allows one to check the operation of the traffic light from ground level.

Abstract: Disclosed in this present invention is a combo type garden lamp structure that is used as a street lamp or a pendent. By means of an opening formed on the bottom of a light bulb shade in conjunction with a special designed socket, the garden lamp according to the invention can be installed on a lamppost to illuminate an area and used as an illuminating ornament. Moreover, the lamp can be used as a hanging lighting fixture by hanging the light bulb set on the end of electrical wires in an upside-down way. It is not necessary for such a structure to provide an additional opening on the light bulb shade to engage the light bulb shade with a light bulb. Thus it has the advantage of simplified construction.

By lifting up the shade 8 from the head 4, the shade 8 can be very easily removed from the head 4. In addition, the shade 8 can be rotated by allowing the protrusions 17, 18 formed on the shade 8 to slide along the arc-shaped portions 15, 16. As such shade 8 allows a simple integral structure, degree of freedom in designing a lighting apparatus can be enhanced.

The lighting unit includes a containment member having a mounting portion mounted on the support member, a flared wall portion extending from a periphery of the mounting portion in a first direction away from the support member, and a partition plate disposed inside the flared wall portion in a second direction transverse to the first direction so as to define a closed accommodating space and an open accommodating space on two sides of the partition plate. The partition plate is formed with a cord hole. A socket member is disposed in the open accommodating space for mounting a light bulb thereon. An insulated conductive cord member has a first end portion connected electrically to the socket member, and a second end portion that extends into the closed accommodating space via the cord hole in the partition plate.

The disclosure is characterized in a vertical coupling of the receptacle with the post so as to obviate the wires to be displaced or twisted to cause an electric shock or poor conductivity.

It also supports the weight of the female end connector of the extension cord so that the socket is not pulled out of the figure.

A lamp shade, which may be made of a flexible, expandible material is initially formed in a cylindrical configuration wherein the diameter is less than the maximum diameter of the conical body member, and one end of the shade is placed into the body member. Abstract: The invention relates to a lampshade which includes separable parts such as a truncated cone-shaped corrugated cover made of paper or a fabric material, curved plate segments for lining the corrugated cover, upper and lower ring members to interconnect releaseably the curved plate segments, and a rib assembly attached releaseably to the upper ring member. The parts of the lampshade can be conveniently stored and economically in a small package and easily assembled to form a lampshade.
