Abstract: An interior light assembly for use in a vehicle includes a housing having a light transmission end constructed to pass light out of the housing. A light source is located in the housing and arranged to emit light in a direction to pass out of the light transmission end of the housing. A visor extends from the light transmission end of the housing for blocking light from the light source in directions transverse to the light transmission end of the housing into a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The visor has an end remote from the housing shaped to engage a windshield of the vehicle. The visor may be pivotably mounted on the housing to facilitate flush engagement of the remote visor end with the windshield. The visor can flare outwardly from the housing to the remote end so light can be seen at greater off-angles by persons outside the vehicle.

Abstract: This invention relates to a warning lamp structure in which a light emitting module and a lamp hood are arranged in order on a base plate. The lamp hood is molded to have a hollow chamber so as to cover the light emitting module. A light concentrating section is integrally formed on the wall surface of the hollow chamber of the lamp hood. Configured in this manner, the bulk volume of the warning lamp is significantly reduced by the integral molding design of the light concentrating section on the lamp hood, so that the warning lamp can be advantageously assembled together with member of various types or member subjected to space limitation so as to reach substantial effect of increasing competitiveness on market.

  • Patent number: 8147108
Abstract: A modular light bar having crisscross lighting in the front and rear. Each module may include two horizontal layers of lighting supported on supports connected to a longitudinal base. A wire harness is positioned within a longitudinal channel in the longitudinal base, with the harness having one end connected to quick disconnects within the modules and having another end connected to a controller. Each of the light bar module is serviceable independent of the other light bar modules, such that the support positioned within and connected to the light bar module being serviced is removable from the light bar module without accessing the other light bar modules by disconnecting the quick disconnect positioned within each light bar module being serviced.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an external condenser and light assembly and, more particularly, to an improved external air conditioning condenser and housing that is designed to additionally serve as a light assembly for an emergency vehicle. The condenser housing is mounted to the exterior of the emergency vehicle, which improves the performance of the emergency vehicle's air-conditioning system. The design of the condenser housing also allows it to serve as a light assembly on which emergency vehicle lights are mounted. The condenser housing and light assembly structure thereby provides for proper air conditioning functionality without occupying space on the exterior of the vehicle that would more preferably be occupied by emergency lighting.
