  • Patent number: 9260050
Abstract: A collection tank for use in a vacuum operated earth reduction system, the collection tank comprising a closed first end, an open second end defining a tank sealing flange and a body extending between the closed first end and the open second end. An internal chamber defined by the body, the closed first end and the open second end has a door coupled to the open second end and is configured to releasably seal the open second end. An automated door closer is coupled to a center of the door, wherein the automated door closer provides a closing force at the center of the door so that the closing force is equally distributed about a periphery of the door to seal the door against the tank sealing flange.

  • Patent number: 8641262
Abstract: The present invention relates to a building material mixer having a mixer drum which can be rotationally driven by a mixer drive, with the mixer drum being rotatably supported by the mixer drive at a mixer frame part, in particular a traveling gear frame part, at one of its end face ends and with the mixer drive having a drive part, in particular a hydraulic motor, and a drive transmission connected to the mixer drum. In accordance with the invention, the building material mixer is characterized in that the mixer drive is movably supported by movable bearing means at the mixer frame part allowing tilting movements; and in that the mixer drum is fastened to the transmission housing of the drive transmission.

  • Patent number: 7527898
Abstract: In order to provide a method of producing a gel negative electrode for an alkaline battery for preparing a gel negative electrode in which a zinc powder, a gelling agent and an electrolyte are disposed uniformly, by an agitator including a cylindrical agitation container disposed so that the center axis X of the cylinder is parallel to the horizontal direction, the agitation container is rotated around the center axis X and the left and right portions of the agitation container are swung around an axis Y, which is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the agitation container, thereby agitating and mixing the alkaline electrolyte and the dry mixture.

  • Patent number: 4585355
Abstract: The invention relates to a concrete mixer truck having a rotatably driven mixer drum, particularly a drum provided with interior mixing elements, and a hydraulic system as a drive source for the mixing process. It is intended to enhance the effect of the mixing process by transmitting vibration energy to the mixture materials. To this effect, a vibration generator is included in the hydraulic system in such a manner that pressure pulses generated in the flow of the hydraulic fluid are superimposed on the mixing movement in the form of vibrations. This superposition effect may be achieved with respect to the rotation of the drum and/or with respect to the movements of a separate mixing tool.

  • Patent number: 4461577
Abstract: The present invention comprises a compact variable height, concrete truck having a concrete mixing barrel which may be positioned in a raised position for maximum load transportation and concrete mixing and pouring, and which may be positioned in a lowered position for reduced load tranportation and concrete mixing and pouring and for low clearance truck storage. The raising and lowering of the barrel is performed by an elevation device mounted at the rear of the truck which causes the barrel to be pivoted in a vertical plane about a pivot point at the lower end of the barrel. Lock apparatus are provided for supporting the barrel in both a raised and a lowered position.

  • Patent number: 4357109
Abstract: A mixer for concrete or other materials has a bowl rotatably mounted on a frame provided with handles and with support means, which, by moving the frame to one position, will hold the bowl in a charging and mixing position supported clear of the ground, its axis inclining up to its mouth. The frame can also be moved to bring the bowl to a travelling position to be propelled along the ground, its axis inclining upwardly towards the mouth. To discharge the mixer, the frame is movable to a further position, the bowl supported by the support means, above the ground with its axis inclining downwardly towards its mouth. The bowl may be rotated, when in mixing or travelling or discharging position, by a motor on the frame and operatively connected to the bowl, the mixer being steered by the handles when propelled with the bowl in travelling position.
