  • Patent number: 7459709
Abstract: An optical image is formed in a radiation-sensitive layer (5), by a number of sub-illuminations, in each of which an array of light valves (21-25) and a corresponding array (40) of converging elements (43) are used to form a pattern of spots in the resist layer (5) in accordance with a sub-image pattern. Between the sub-illuminations, the resist layer (5) is displaced relative to the arrays (21-25, 40). The lens array (40) may be tilted with respect to the scan area, such that each resist layer area is scanned by a number of spots. In addition, some spot overlap also occurs in a direction perpendicular to the scan direction. This spot redundancy is utilised by selectively reducing the intensity, or switching off, one or more of the redundant spots so as to alter the position of an edge of a device feature, i.e. “fine tune” it.

  • Patent number: 5138602
Abstract: A turn table having a sound recording disk or record mounted thereon is normally urged upwardly by a spring disposed between a lower surface of the turn table and a chassis of a casing to apply a stylus force to a pickup. A weight member is rotatably and eccentrically supported on an inside mounting plate, and an operating claw having a slant surface formed on a lower surface is fixed to the weight member. When a shock is applied to the weight member externally, the weight member rotates by an inertia force in a plane perpendicular to a rotary shaft of the turn table. As a result, the operating claw on the weight member moves toward an upper end of the rotary shaft. The slant surface of the operating claw rides over the upper end of the rotary shaft to downwardly press the rotary shaft together with the turn table. Thus, the stylus force of the pickup is released.

A reverse slippage restraining post or plunger is disposed between the winding wheel and a record disc axially movable along the center shaft. The record disc is resiliently urged toward a pickup. The reverse slippage restraining post or plunger engages a locking piece provided on the record disc when it is pushed forward by the winding wheel when the winding knob is pushed forward in its first winding, while it is pushed back when the record disc is moved away from the record disc by the depression of a starting post, and is released from the engagement with the locking piece to permit rotation of the record disc when the record disc reverts back to its undepressed position when the depression on the start post is released.

  • Patent number: 4404667
Abstract: A winding string, when stretched tight, will lift a speaker unit which applies a stylus pressure to a pickup so that the pickup is allowed to reverted back to the starting point of sound reproduction. The stretched string will also lift a plunger carrying a stopper block to axially advance so as to be in engagement with a retainer piece disposed on the record disc. The plunger is normally urged by a first spring toward a direction in that the stopper block may retract away from the engagement with the retainer piece disposed on the record disc. The advanced position of the plunger, at which the stopper block engages the retainer piece is sustained by a lever movable in a see-saw like swing motion. The lever is actuated by the movement of an intermediate starter member initiated by the depression of any one of the selective starter rods provided in number corresponding to that of recorded grooves and thereby releases the record disc from its temporarily stopped condition.

  • Patent number: 4404668
Abstract: In order to perform selective sound reproduction from a plurality of recorded grooves on a record disc, a stopper block for stopping a record disc at a position where starting point of the record disc is able to engage the reproduction stylus of a pickup is disposed on the reverse side of the record disc. A plurality of locking bars corresponding to the number of recorded grooves are distributed along a circle concentric with the record disc and the circle has a radius smaller than the radius of the record disc. The locking bars are urged by a flat spring having radial teeth fixed around a shaft holder for receiving the center shaft toward direction, and are normally held by the spring apart from the stopper block. The center shaft as a center of rotation of the record disc is normally biased by a spring toward retracted direction and engages the locking bars through a manipulating member.
