  • Patent number: 11902473
Abstract: A link management device with a special function is connected to the IP network, and the link management device controls a process of establishing a link between an IP converter device and a signal transfer point. The IP converter device transmits a request including a point code to the link management device, and the link management device determines the IP address and the like of the signal transfer point as a connection destination from the received point code. The link management device transmits information for identifying the signal transfer point to the IP converter device, and also transmits information for identifying the IP converter device to the signal transfer point as the connection destination. The port number of the IP converter device is determined by the link management device. The port number of the signal transfer point is determined by the link management device.

  • Patent number: 11693692
Abstract: Instruction processing is performed for an instruction. The instruction is configured to perform a plurality of functions, in which a function of the plurality of functions is to be performed in a plurality of processing phases. A processing phase is defined to store up to a select amount of data. The select amount of data is based on the function to be performed. At least one function of the plurality of functions has a different value for the select amount of data than at least one other function. A determination is made as to whether a store into a designated area occurred based on processing a select processing phase of a select function. Based on determining that the store into the designated area occurred, an interrupt is presented, and based on determining that the store into the designated area did not occur, instruction processing is continued.

  • Patent number: 11601454
Abstract: The invention relates to a work machine and a method for monitoring a control system at a work machine (1a). According to the method, in-parameters (32, 34, 36, 38) are obtained in the form of signals from the control system, wherein the control system generates actual values on one or more out-parameters (42, 44) in the form of signals based on said in-parameters. A characteristic of the invention is that a digital flow of data, comprising both said in-parameters and out-parameters via a control bus (5a, 5b), is addressed to a RAM buffer memory (3b,3c), which is included in a personal computer (3a) onboard the work machine, which buffer memory in FIFO mode writes a data file (id:1.1-id1:n) of a predetermined size, which is saved in a non-volatile data support memory (3d).

  • Patent number: 8855111
Abstract: A communication device has a transmitting circuit, a receiving circuit, and a controller. The transmitting circuit transmits a first data to a transmission line. The first data is generated by a first scrambler wherein the values of the registers of the first scrambler are characterized by a first combination number. The receiving circuit receives a second data scrambled by a second scrambler from the transmission line. The first and the second scramblers have the same scrambler generator polynomial. The receiving circuit has a descrambler having a plurality of registers for descrambling the second data. The values of the registers of the second scrambler are characterized by a second combination number when the descrambler descrambles the second data. The controller configures the values of the registers of the first scrambler according to the first combination number, the second combination number, and/or a difference between the first and the second combination numbers.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for managing a switch chip port. The method is applied in a distributed communications system and includes: detecting whether each of multiple service boards is in position; when it is detected that a service board is not in position, controlling disabling of a port corresponding to the detected not-in-position service board on a first switch chip of the main control board; and/or sending an in-position message including information about the not-in-position service board to the switch board, so that the switch board controls, according to the information about the not-in-position service board, disabling of a port corresponding to the not-in-position service board on a second switch chip of the switch board. Energy saving of a switch chip port can be efficiently implemented by adopting the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention, thereby efficiently reducing power consumption of the system.

  • Patent number: 8787354
Abstract: (“TRE”) provides an automatic routing, selecting, processing for calls placed in an international network according to a selected International Tier Level for premium or guaranteed delivery. In one embodiment, a platform initiates international tiered routing information to a gateway based on a pre-set platforms' knowledge of the terminating gateway topology, Automatic Number Identification, and assigned services that requires such transmission. In one embodiment, a user may select a tier to route an international call. In another embodiment, the contextual fields of a communication mechanism define tags and tier levels indicating determining, routing and handling information to be sent to a validated gateway, or routing devices. In one embodiment, contextual tags includes customized domain name and global descriptors of compatible network components, delivery control, trunk group service ID, trunk-related tier level, and other trunk-related service attributes for tiered routing.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a replication engine of a switch module of a multi-stage switch. The replication engine is configured to receive a first validation packet from an input port of the switch module. The replication engine is configured to determine multiple output ports of the switch module to which a data packet can be sent to reach a destination device associated with the first validation packet. The replication engine is configured to define multiple second validation packets based on a number of output ports from the multiple output ports such that each second validation packet from the multiple second validation packets is uniquely associated with an output port from the multiple output ports. The replication engine is configured to send the multiple second validation packets to an output module configured to forward each second validation packet from the multiple second validation packets to its associated output port.

Abstract: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate allocating uplink resources to mobile devices to employ to signal acknowledgment indicators. Persistently scheduled mobile devices can be explicitly assigned uplink resources. Dynamically scheduled mobile device can utilize a one-to-one mapping to identify uplink resources based upon a downlink control channel index. The one-to-one mapping can be revised to remove associations between downlink control channel indices and resources allocated to persistently scheduled users and/or reserved for other control signaling in a mixed resource block. In addition, downlink control channel indices can be selected to avoid collisions between dynamic and persistent users.
