Arrangements For Generation Of Hop Sequences (epo) Patents (Class 375/E1.035)
  • Patent number: 11843430
Abstract: A signal generation method is used in a transmission device that transmits a plurality of transmission signals from a plurality of antennas at the same frequency and at the same time, in the case where larger power change is performed on a first transmission signal than on a second transmission signal during generation process of the first transmission signal and the second transmission signal, the first transmission signal and the second transmission signal are mapped before the power change such that a minimum Euclidian distance between possible signal points for the first signal is longer than a minimum Euclidian distance between possible signal points for the second signal.

  • Patent number: 11589218
Abstract: A first dual SIM user equipment (UE) has a first wireless connection to first Citizens Broadband radio Services Devices (CBSD) of a first network and a second wireless connection to a second CBSD of a second network. Different encryption and different frequency hopping patterns are used with regard to communicating the same voice packet information over the first and second wireless connections. The same voice information is attempted to be redundantly communicated over the two connections, e.g. concurrently or with a slight delay with regard to the two connections. The CBRS communications are typically less reliable than cellular licensed spectrum communications, and a particular encrypted voice packet may, and sometimes is lost; however, the redundancy is used to compensate for expected losses. Successfully recovered encrypted voice packets are sent from the CBSDs to a packet synchronizer which performs decryption and combines the recovered packets into a single packet stream.

  • Patent number: 8958456
Abstract: A composite wireless device including a WLAN device and a BT device. The composite wireless device includes a wireless-channel control unit that determines usable FH channels that can be used for frequency hopping of the BT device, based on communication quality information of the WLAN channel, and notifies the BT device of the usable frequency bands, and a BT-communication control unit that acquires communication quality information of an extended frequency band, which is a frequency band other than the usable frequency bands, as extended communication quality information. The wireless-channel control unit adds the FH channels in the WLAN channel, which are determined as being unused based on the extended communication quality information, as the usable FH channels.

  • Patent number: 8472499
Abstract: An adaptive multi-channel architecture for a wireless network is provided. A frequency hopping sequence generator module is compliant with a frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) communications protocol. The frequency hopping sequence generator module is capable of performing FHSS concurrently on a plurality of communications channels. A frequency replacement module is coupled to the frequency hopping sequence generator module. The frequency replacement module is configured to receive feedback data over a feedback channel and adaptively select a transmission channel from the plurality of communications channels using the feedback data.

  • Patent number: 8300674
Abstract: A signature sequence is employed in a wireless transmission over a channel and is detected by a receiving station. The signature sequence is selected from a subset of sequences chosen from a set of sequences formed by delay-Doppler shifts of a base sequence. Use of the subset of sequences simplifies detection of the signature sequence by, e.g., facilitating use of a simpler detector structure. A subset of N2 sequences of the specially-constructed delay-Doppler shifted sequence set is selected to facilitate more efficient computation of the detection metric. A simplified detector employs algebraic techniques (such as Discrete Fourier 'Transform (DFT)) that exploit prudent sequence assignment strategy. As an advantageous variation, for a particular class of base sequences that can be represented by segments of equal-length sinusoids, even greater complexity reduction can be achieved by segmenting the delay-Doppler correlation accordingly and reusing past outcome in subsequent overlapping segments.
