Abstract: A first SBC establishes a first media session between a transferor and a transferee. A second SBC establishes a second media session between the transferor and a transfer target. The first SBC receives a REFER message initiated by the transferor and determines that a dialog ID in the REFER message does not correspond to a media session currently being handled by the first SBC. The first SBC sends a SIP INVITE message to a plurality of SBCs, including the second SBC, that are in a load sharing group with the first SBC. The SIP INVITE message includes the dialog ID associated with the second media session, which triggers the second SBC to re-use the second media session to establish a media session between the transferee and the transfer target.

Abstract: An information providing apparatus for providing an information receiver with an information providing service is provided, including: information accumulating means for accumulating information to be provided; electronic mail receiving means for receiving an electronic mail; and information providing control means for extracting desired information from the information accumulating means to start the information providing service for the information receiver having transmitted the electronic mail upon receipt of the electronic mail by the electronic mail receiving means.

Abstract: With regard to a method of controlling station-to-station transmission in a network formed by exchanges which support ISDN, and particularly for the purpose of implementing, during communication between stations via one medium, slave transmission with respect to the same party using a different medium, without consideration of the number of the party, when an exchange which receives a request for slave transmission from a terminal in communication via one medium with an already-communicating terminal of another station detects this request, a slave transmission identifier and the call reference used to connect to the already-communicating terminal are detected, the slave transmission identifier and call reference are set into the information elements to be added to a call setting message, a different channel in the same interface which is used to connect to the already-communicating terminal is captured, this being used to transmit to the other station.
