Publication number: 20150036860Abstract: An audio device adapted for altering the structure of water is provided. The device includes a rigid, enclosed cabinet with speakers mounted to the cabinet. The speakers are positioned on opposing walls, facing each other, within the cavity of the cabinet and a watertight container is placed between the speakers. The exterior surface of the container rests directly against with the cone or the voice coil of the speakers, which are connected to an external sound system. Because the container is flush against the surface of the speakers, vibrations from the sound waves generated by the cone or the voice coil are transferred directly through the water. The sound waves alter the structure of the water from a liquid form to a liquid crystalline form, such that the liquid crystalline takes coherent geometric shapes.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2014Publication date: February 5, 2015Inventor: Christopher Malcolm

Patent number: 8761432Abstract: An electronic device includes an internal speaker module and an external sound box detachably applied to the internal speaker module. The valve is resisted to the opening to cover the opening of the internal speaker module. When external sound box is applied to the internal speaker module, the connector is magnetically attracted with the magnetic attracter, while the valve is magnetically repelled from the connector and moves away from the opening to open the opening, thereby the external sound chamber is communicating with the internal sound chamber.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2013Date of Patent: June 24, 2014Assignee: Chiun Mai Communication Systems, Inc.Inventor: Chuan-Hsien Cheng

Patent number: 8744108Abstract: A duct design and methods for designing ducts are described herein. The duct has a profile described by an equation that balances momentum of the fluid flowing through the duct with an adverse pressure gradient. The duct profile is configured to: (i) maintain the fluid's momentum to be greater than the adverse pressure gradient present at any location within the duct, such that no boundary layer separation occurs; and (ii) achieve a fluid exit momentum of approximately zero.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2012Date of Patent: June 3, 2014Assignee: Strata Audio LLCInventor: Mark Trainer
