  • Patent number: 11386144
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for generating tags for an object portrayed in a digital image based on predicted attributes of the object. For example, the disclosed systems can utilize interleaved neural network layers of alternating inception layers and dilated convolution layers to generate a localization feature vector. Based on the localization feature vector, the disclosed systems can generate attribute localization feature embeddings, for example, using some pooling layer such as a global average pooling layer. The disclosed systems can then apply the attribute localization feature embeddings to corresponding attribute group classifiers to generate tags based on predicted attributes. In particular, attribute group classifiers can predict attributes as associated with a query image (e.g., based on a scoring comparison with other potential attributes of an attribute group).

Abstract: A method, system, apparatus, and article of manufacture provide the ability to perform multiple actions based on a reality captured image. An adjustable splitter splits a viewport into viewing panes with the ability to freely adjust the splitter angle. A sphere represents a view of a scene from a viewpoint and used to render an interactive preview of the view without moving to the viewpoint. A series of 2D images may be used to simulate the navigation of a 3D model in an expedited manner. A 3D mesh error scroll bar is used navigate unsorted errors resulting from mesh creation. An interactive gradient map can be used to select a points based on a range of values for non-geometric parameters. An irregularly shaped mesh selection boundary can be directly modified by stretching. An elevation slice of a 3D model can be defined and isolated for viewing/manipulation.

  • Patent number: 11347979
Abstract: A method and a device for MCMC framework-based sub-hypergraph matching are provided. Matching of object features is performed by constructing sub-hypergraphs. In a large number of actual images and videos, objects vary constantly, and contain various noise points as well as other interference factors, which makes image object matching and searching very difficult. Perform object feature matching by representing the appearance and positions of objects by sub-hypergraphs allows for faster and more accurate image matching. Furthermore, a sub-hypergraph has several advantages over a graph or a hypergraph: on one hand, a sub-hypergraph has more geometric information (e.g. angle transformation, rotation, scale, etc.) than a graph, and has a lower degree of difficulty and better extensibility than a hypergraph. On the other hand, the disclosed method and device have stronger capabilities to resist interference and good robustness, and are adaptable to more complex settings, especially with outliers.

Abstract: A contextual label compression framework is presented that uses trained sequence to sequence models. A set of training data including received queries and related content can be processed to generate sequences of semantic encodings. These sequences can be used to train the sequence to sequence models, in order to be able to predict queries for instances of content when the relevant information for those instances is processed by the model. When such information is received for an instance, that information can be processed to generate a semantic encoding sequence which can then be processed by the model. A resulting semantic sequence output by the model can be segmented and decoded to produce a set of relevant queries for the instance of content. This information can then be provided to an entity associated with the instance of content for purposes in managing aspects relating to that content.

  • Patent number: 11238238
Abstract: A system and method for lowering probability that low data rates, high bit error rates, and susceptibility to signal degradation in communication environments during storms, solar activity, and adversarial activity is disclosed. The system and method affect communications by minimizing the amount of data/information that needs to be transmitted, partly by creating an algorithmic process/method that moves knowledge and not data and information. The system and method is based upon the realization that structured communications often possess a similar level of context that can be exploited to communicate full meaning (knowledge), even when only a small fraction of the message is transmitted to the receiver. Reducing the number of bytes transmitted significantly reduces the probability that a transmission will be affected by either naturally occurring or human supplied factors present in modern communication environments.

  • Patent number: 11200708
Abstract: Generating color vector previews for images is described. A color vector preview system processes image data using parallel pipelines: one for determining a color palette based on an image frame's depicted content and another for recoloring image frames using the color palette. The color vector preview system replaces each pixel of an image frame with a color determined from a surrounding spatial neighborhood of pixels. Input specifying a number of colors is received, and the specified number of colors are selected from replaced pixel values to define the color palette. After determining the color palette, the color palette pipeline obtains a most-recently captured image frame and updates the color palette accordingly. Simultaneously, the recoloring pipeline compares each of the replaced pixel values to the color palette and replaces each pixel based on the comparison. Recolored frames are then output as color vector previews for the image data in real-time.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating a base visual score for each candidate image of a plurality of images received by a computing system, based on the scene type of each image. For each candidate image, the computing system multiplies the base visual score by a feature importance weight to generate a first visual score, adds respective scene type bonus points to the first visual score to generate a second visual score, and adds diversity scoring points to the second visual score to generate a final visual score for each candidate image. The computing system ranks the candidate images based on the final visual scores and provides a specified number of the top-ranked candidate images to be displayed on a display of the computing device.
