    Abstract: A bag includes two parallel walls, each with two side edges each; a bottom connected with lower ends of the two walls and which can be folded in a plane of the walls; and two carrying handles, which in each case have two parallel legs and one cross member connecting the two parallel legs and are fastened with fastening sections, formed at their legs, in each case to one of the walls of the bag and are folded back on themselves at fold lines, so that they do not protrude beyond the walls and are detachably fixed to the bag, the cross members of the two carrying handles being offset from each other in the folded-back position by an amount, which corresponds at least to the width of the cross members and the fold lines of the two carrying handles being mutually offset by about half this amount, and the carrying handles being mutually offset in a direction perpendicular to the side edges to such an extent, that the parallel legs of the two handles do not overlap one another.

    Abstract: An accessory bag of generally rectangular configuration and having flexible front and back members. The back member is formed of a generally imperforate flexible material with the front member having a like configuration and formed of an open mesh flexible material with a substantial portion of the periphery thereof secured together. The upper and lower edges of opposite sides of the mesh surface are provided with mating fasteners, such as Velcro strips or snaps at positions suitable for enabling coupling of the fasteners to one another with the bag folded with the back member exposed. The mesh material has the openings thereof sufficiently large for enabling insertion of a finger therethrough, whereby the bag may be utilized for small articles such as small clothing items, hair pieces, scarves or the like, which may be viewed through and extracted through the openings of the mesh material by use of a finger without opening the bag.

The packets are produced from a pair of compartmented tubular webs that are brought together with the compartments in register, the webs then being interconnected at the compartment end seals and severed at those seals to form the separate packets. Apparatus for performing the process deposits doses of tea at spaced intervals onto the two separate webs before forming them into the tubular compartmented webs, brings the compartments of the two webs into register, interconnects the registered compartments, and separates the interconnected compartments into individual packets while the web advances continuously through the apparatus. The process is capable of high production rates because the webs are able to move through the successive stages at a uniform speed.
