Abstract: A configurable bag is provided. The configurable bag has plurality of various interconnecting storage compartments (or “modules”). The interconnecting storage compartments may be selectively used to store various objects such as, for example, shoes, clean clothes, dirty clothes, toiletries, etc. The interconnecting storage compartments may be selectively secured vertically to each other so as to be able to be easily fit within, for example, a standard vertical gym locker. Retractable hooks may be secured to the sides of the interconnecting storage compartments so as to allow the assembled device to hang vertically from a hanger poll. The storage compartments may allow for both front and top access into the interior of the device.

Abstract: A self-standing container having four sidewall panels, a bottom panel, and openable top panel, wherein (i) all the panels are formed of a polymer material, and (ii) the top panel has a closure configured to close the top panel in relation to the sidewall panels. Each sidewall panel has a pocket panel attached thereto forming a pocket. A spring steel stiffener is positioned between each sidewall and pocket panel, with the spring steel stiffener forming a closed loop.

Abstract: A modular weight training bag system, made up of a main bag constructed of heavy pliable fabric with a zipper-less closure, an inner lining that holds a granular material which adds weight and volume to the main bag, and also has a uniquely designed closure, using various size pouches to increase weight, an add-on weight attachments installed on the main bag for the purpose of quickly increasing the weight of the bag, a capsule sleeve for securing two main bags together, and a soft shell constructed to cover the main bag or capsule sleeve.

Abstract: The present invention relates to modern plastic shopping bags. The shopping bag comprises two opposing handles, a main body with opposing sides, an open top, and a closed bottom. The shopping bag handles comprises a distinguishing characteristic on all of or a portion of each handle, thereby making each handle significantly visibly distinguishable from the main body of the shopping bag. Additionally proposed is a group of shopping bags for mounting to a dispenser rack, and wherein the handles characteristic of each first bag in line to be removed from the dispenser in succession differs from the handles characteristic of the next bag in line to be removed from the dispenser. In addition to the handles characteristic being significantly visually identifiable from the main body characteristic, other identifiable features of the bag such as a displayed Universal Product Code (UPC) are also shown and displayed.

Abstract: A flexible large container for transporting and storing a filling product. The container has a usable space formed by top, bottom, and side walls that are constructed from a plurality of fabric sheets. The portions of the fabric sheets that enclose the usable space are welded together to provide a stitchless usable space. Upper portions of the sidewalls extend upward beyond the usable space to form a hem. Lift loops that enable the large container to be lifted by mechanical means are sewn onto the hem. Thus, the usable space remains stitchless, i.e., without stitch holes, yet the lift loops are stitched to the hem.

Abstract: A ballast bag that is durable and prevents exposure to FOD is provided. The ballast bag includes a bag body with a first end and a second end, a first side and a second side, and a front side and a rear side. A first strap is connected to the front side forming a loop defined by two parallel lines along the front side of the bag and a handle extending past each end of the bag. A second strap is connected to the rear side forming a loop defined by two parallel lines along the rear side of the bag and a handle extending past each end of the bag. The handles of the straps are the same size to form a double handle on each end of the bag. The first and second strap each have an inner and outer band of embedded non-slip material.

Abstract: A shoulder strap assembly for shoulder-supported bags is provided. The shoulder strap assembly is manufactured to provide a tri-para-planar alignment of the strap and the folded body material that forms the enclosure of the bag. The folded body material includes a coextensive flap portion that folds over an opening of the enclosure. When folded over, the flap portion twists each fixed end of the shoulder strap, in opposite directions. The twist amounts to rotation of approximately ninety degrees of each fixed distal end relative to the shoulder strap's curved apex/midpoint. As a result, a predetermined curvature if formed at the apex of the shoulder strap material. This predetermined curvature causes the shoulder bag to pull and/or lean toward the body of the wearer, preventing the associated shoulder bag from falling off the shoulder.

Abstract: A container has a box shape and comprises a bottom wall, side walls forming a circumferential wall of the container and a strap. One or more straps form four lifting loops at the upper side of the container and are fixed to the side walls diagonally such that the strap forms a V-shape on each of said side walls between two adjacent lifting loops. The strap can be free from the side walls at lower ends of the V-shapes so as to form fastening loops.

Abstract: A food container includes a first interior face having disposed thereon a first protective layer for protecting the first interior face from exposure to contaminants that would interfere with recycling of the food container. The first protective layer is affixed to the first interior face by an adhesive interface so as to be peelable from the first interior face.

Abstract: A lifting bag having at least one side wall and a closed bottom forming an interior, the bag further having a closable top portion connected to the sidewall and adapted to close the interior of the bag. The opening is a single slit centered on the bag top and closable with a zipper. The lifting bag includes a sling coupled to the bag, generally through a edge strip positioned at ore near the top edge of the bag. The bag can be constructed from a single multilayered sheet. The bag is used in conjunction with a lifting strap system.

Abstract: A shape-retention hoisting including a rectangular parallelepiped bag. Base bands are provided along diagonal lines of the rectangular parallelepiped bag. A quadrangular-prism-shaped lift band is secured to a point of intersection of the base bands. One end of a truss band is secured by a fixing band surrounding the quadrangular-prism-shaped lift band, and the other end thereof is secured to the base band at a point spaced apart by a given distance from the center of the lift band. In this way, a plurality of truss bands can be disposed on the lift band in the vertical direction, thereby resolving a weight applied to a single truss band and maintaining the shape of the shape-retention hoisting bag.

Abstract: A mattress cover envelops a mattress in order to protect the mattress during moving and storage and has a body member that has a pair of faces joined by left and right side portions and a bottom portion forming an interior space with closed bottom, closed sides, and an open top. A flap extends upwardly from one of the faces and is releasably attachable to the other face in order to provide closure to the cover once a mattress is held therein. Side flaps extend from each side portion to provide added protection to the mattress. A strap extends along the bottom and up a section of each side portion. Loops on the ends of the strap provide carrying handles for the movers.

Abstract: The convertible tote bag of the present invention comprises a container of any width, depth and length that can be either closed or open at the top, with or without exterior or interior pockets, with two carrying straps of adjustable size that are permanently attached on one end on opposite sides of the bag diagonally across from each other. The convertible tote bag can be carried in the hand or on the shoulder when the end of each strap that is not permanently attached to the bag is selectively attached to the attachment mechanism on the same side of the bag. In this invention there are two ways for the convertible tote bag to be worn as a backpack.

Abstract: The invention relates to a bag that includes a shell having a predetermined maximum vertical rise. A channel is connected to the shell. An elongated strap has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is disposed within the channel, and the second portion is exposed from the channel. The strap is moveable with respect to the channel thereby causing the shell to cinch and the bag to assume a vertically constrained size while a carry strap increases in size. Optionally, the carry strap has an adjustable length to meet the needs of users of various height and having differing notions of how to wear the bag on their bodies.

Liquids are loaded into a flexible container wherein the container is lifted by straps so that the container hangs freely, the container is filled with the liquid, the filling tube is sealed, the sealed tube is placed between the outer shell and stabilizing straps on the outside surface of the outer shell and the flexible container is then rested on a surface, trapping the filling tube between the outside surface and strap so that the container is securely sealed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a beach towel, which converts to a compact tote bag incorporating externally accessible pockets for carrying various accessories. The beach towel is formed from a large rectangular section of flexible, absorbent fabric and a second smaller, multi-paneled rectangular towel consisting mostly of the same or similar fabric as the large towel. The small towel overlies the upper one-quarter section of the large towel and the two are stitched together along the center and periphery of the small towel. Pockets with zippered closures are provided on the outside face of the small towel, and its center section is made from a flexible perforated screen or mesh fabric to facilitates escape of dirt and sand particles entrapped within the pockets. The towel converts to the tote bag configuration by folding it twice along the transverse axis and once along the longitudinal axis.

Via tilt-bed trucks the cargo is transported to a waste site. At the site an openable wall of the reusable lift-liner is opened, the bed is tilted, the inner container slides from the lift-liner and is dumped off the bed. The lift-liner stays on the bed, then is prepared for re-use. Openable wall configurations include releasble closures at corners adjacent to the openable wall. Holes through which strands are laced releasably close the openable wall. Flaps joined to transition sections attached to the walls cause tucks to form when the flaps are closed across the lift-liner. The transition sections also have the releasable closures. Cutting the strands allows the openable wall to open. The strands may be re-laced in the holes for re-use of the lift-liner.

Abstract: A system provides a lift-liner for efficient transport of units of bulk cargo (especially bulk cargo that is radioactive hazardous material waste), and economical disposal of the lift-liner for storage of the waste therein. The cargo is transported in the lift-liner from a remediation site to a railroad siding, during transport on a railroad gondola car, from the gondola car to a waste storage site, and within such storage site to a storage cell, in which the lift-liner and the waste therein are placed. The units are defined by the lift-liner, which is capable of containing up to about twelve tons of the waste. A container of the lift-liner is provided with at least five straps connected to two opposite walls, and four straps connected to two other opposite walls, and a bottom between corners of the container. Collectively, the straps may receive up to about twelve tons of vertical lifting force from a lift grid having a connector vertically above and aligned with each strap.

Abstract: A durable gear bag designed for use in white water rafts and other small water craft. Heavy weight polypropylene webbing is sewn along the bottom of the bag. D-rings are attached to extensions of the webbing. The bag is then attached to the D-rings of a raft using common boat straps. The bag/strap configuration permits many different strapping arrangements for use in a variety of water craft. The top of the bag is fitted with strips of common hook and loop fasteners (such as VELCRO). These strips are sealed and rolled down snugly. Three snap release connectors are then used to secure the top of the bag. When not in use, the bag can be folded or stuffed for easy packing.

Abstract: A modular barrier system and component bags are provided characterized by the component bags being stacked in layers and interconnected to form a retaining wall. Each bag is constructed of a woven tubular sheet that has a rectangular shape when pressed flat. One end of the bag is sealed and the other end is left open to receive sand for filling. Dual elongated straps are bonded to the lower surface of the bag and extend over the side edges. The straps are positioned at 1/5 L, 2/5 L, 1/5 L spacing to be vertically aligned for easy interconnection when the bags are stacked to form the wall. The ends of each strap are folded back to form a loop that receives the strap/loop from a bag in the layer immediately above. The loops also function as handles that allow the bags to be easily lifted and carried.

Abstract: A protective tote bag is for covering and carrying a briefcase of the type having a handle at the top and having a length, a height and a width defining a rectangular shape. The protective tote bag includes an enclosure which is formed of a protective fabric material and having two closed sides, two closed ends and a closed bottom defining a rectangular shape sufficiently large for accommodating the briefcase to be covered and with a closable opening along a top edge thereof. A support strap having a width corresponding to a minimum width of the briefcase to be covered is securely fastened as through stitching and along two ends extending around the bottom of the enclosure. A shoulder strap is securely fastened to the support strap at each end of the enclosure so that it extends above the closable opening at the top edge of the enclosure to form a loop which has a sufficient length for supporting the tote bag over a human being's shoulder.

Abstract: An external bag support frame for attachment to a bag with side walls and a bottom wall. The external bag support frame has perimeter walls for attachment to the bag's side walls by stitching, adhesive, or with detachable means such as hook and loop material. The frame provides the bag with additional rigidity and abrasion resistance. In one embodiment, webbing straps passable through slots in the perimeter walls provide bottom support for the bags bottom. In another embodiment, a bottom grid, unitary with the perimeter side walls, form the bottom support for the bag.

Abstract: An improved sports accessory bag with straps which are convertible for use either with a bar on stationary exercise apparatus, or for use as a portable accessory bag. A strap is attached to one end of the bag and a second strap is attached to the opposite end of the bag. A first separable buckle is used with the first strap for forming a first suspension loop. A second separable buckle is used with the second strap for forming a second suspension loop. The first female snap receptacle and the second male snap connector are compatible for connecting the two long free ends of the two straps together, so that the first and second long free ends will form a third suspension loop. The bag may be suspended from the first and second loops on a bar member on stationary exercise apparatus, or it may be converted to a portable sports accessory bag by connecting the long ends together around a person's waist.

The loop is of a size sufficient to accommodate insertion of a forearm therein. In use, a forearm is inserted into the loops and the bag is pressed against the body. In this way, the weight of the load within the bag is partially displaced from the bag to the forearm thereby reducing stress on the lower back muscles.

Abstract: A collapsible insulated carrier device is provided for transporting a single large container of a cold beverage such as a keg of beer. The carrier is a multi-layer construction, having an internally disposed thermally insulative shell fabricated of closed cell resilient polymer, a stress-bearing harness disposed upon the exterior of the shell, and an outer jacket of strong thin fabric that encompasses the shell and harness. Carrying handles are sewn through the jacket and into engagement with the harness. Such manner of association of the handles with the harness prevents tearing stresses from concentrating upon the bottom of the fabric jacket or the sites of handle attachment.

A method of using the bag rack and dispensing system for packaging and dispensing food items includes, but is not limited to, the steps of hanging the storage bags on the rack of the bag rack and dispensing system, opening the frontmost storage bag, holding open or propping open the storage bag using a hooking device, placing the food item(s) or any other types of item(s) into the storage bag, removing the hooking device, if used, closing the storage bag, and removing the filled storage bag from the rack of the bag rack and dispensing system.
