Abstract: A portable personal emergency escape device, having a protective sack, a cable and a securing member. The protective sack is made of fire resistant or fire proof material and is sufficient in size to hold and enclose an individual therein. A first end of the cable is attached to the protective sack. The securing member is configured to be secured to an inside of a building structure and is attached to a second end of the cable. The cable has sufficient length to allow the protective sack to extend from the securing member to an outside of the building structure. The protective sack hangs below an opening in the building structure when deployed to provide the individual a temporary escape while awaiting rescue from the dangerous condition.

Abstract: A water storage unit includes an outer bag with an inlet defined in a top end thereof and an inner bag is received in the outer bag. A coolant bag is received in the inner bag and has coolant received therein. An outlet part is connected to the lower end of the outer bag and connected with a hose so that the user can suck the water in the outer bag. The water is cooled by the coolant in the coolant bag which is located at the lower end of the outer bag. A handle has a clamp slot with which a sealing rod is securely engaged. The inlet of the outer bag can be sealed by the cooperation of the clamp slot of the handle and the sealing rod.

Abstract: A sealed, double walled water packet has an inner packet filled with potable water that has a porous outer surface layer containing absorbed water and an outer packet that encloses the inner packet and is connected to the inner layer. The inner packet (which may contain as little as a swallow of water) is connected to the outer packet (both of which can be made as envelopes with tearable sections or peel off corners) along one side or by a string so that the inner packet can be twirled or waved to cause rapid evaporation of water in the porous outer surface layer (which can include hydrogel) to thereby cool the potable water contained inside the inner packet before it is opened.

Abstract: The present invention provides a package for holding articles including a bag having a front panel and a back panel joined together at a first side seam and a second side seam; perforations located on a portion of the front panel and back panel proximate to the first side seam, the perforations defining three sides of a spout section; and a handle secured to the spout section. The design and location of the multi-functional handle provides for ease in lifting and transporting the package. The handle has the further advantage of acting as an opening aid in conjunction with the perforations or tear lines, located a suitable distance from the handle.

Abstract: The bladder includes two sidewall portions which are disposed opposite one another. Along a majority of the perimeter, the first and second sidewalls are joined together so as to form a body defining a containment area which is substantially enclosed by the sidewalls. One portion of each of the two sidewalls is not joined with the opposing sidewall so as to form a bladder with an opening along one portion thereof. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the sidewalls of the bladder form a body, and a neck which extends beyond the unattached portions of the sidewalls. An opening is formed in a neck which extends from the body. The neck is open at opposing ends to thereby provide a conduit for placing fluids into the containment area of the body. To close the conduit formed by the neck portion, the neck portion is rolled toward the body. The rolled neck portion seals the opening closed and prevents liquid in the containment area from escaping out of the neck.

Abstract: The bag closure comprises a first arm, a second arm, and a third arm. The first, second and third arms each include a first and second end. The second arm is disposed intermediate the first and third arms. The first ends of each arm are permanently attached to a groin and extend therefrom into a first position wherein the second ends of each arm are maintained in a spaced apart orientation where the second ends of each arm are not touching each other and are not secured to each other. In this first position, a first open slot separates the first and second arms and a second open slot separates the second and third arms. A ring is utilized to secure the second ends of the first, second, and third arms in a second position where the first and third arms are moved closer in proximity to the second arm and the first and second slots are substantially closed at the second ends of the arms.

Abstract: A flexible hinged handle sewn to the closure strip of a multiple ply bag. The hinged handle has a generally U-shaped and a pair of notches pivotably joining a grip member to the legs of the U-shape so that the grip is pivotal to provide a comfortable grasping surface for lifting the bag when filled with a product.

Abstract: A profiled bottom bag made of paper, plastic foil or a similar foldable material has at least one profiled end provided at its outside with a handle-forming strip whose length is essentially that of the profiled end. A handle section extends between connecting areas and, in contrast to the connecting areas, is narrower. The handle-forming strip forms part of a prefabricated cut section encompassing a separating strip which extends under the handle section of the handle-forming strip without being bonded thereto, whose width corresponds to that of the handle-forming strip in the end-connecting areas of the strip, whose length, measured in the longitudinal direction of the profiled end, but in contrast to the length of the handle-forming strip, is shorter up to the narrow connecting areas on both sides of the handle section of the handle-forming strip. The separating strip and the handle-forming strip are bonded together.

Abstract: A carryall suitable for transporting articles including a towel to a bathing area includes an elongate and flexible pouch formed into a plurality of closeable compartments in the interior. Fasteners are formed on an inner surface of one end portion of the pouch and the outer surface of the opposite end portion so that the elongate pouch can be formed into a circular enclosure and held by the fasteners to define an area enclosing a rolled beach towel. One end portion of the pouch has an elongate shoulder strap fixed on the outer surface thereof, and a length of material is fitted across the outer surface of the other end portion of the pouch such that the elongate shoulder strap can be fitted under the length of material to hold the pouch in its rolled condition securely during transport of articles to a bathing area.

Abstract: Flat pieces of netting material are placed on the ground to catch leaves as they fall from nearby trees. When the leaves have fallen the net blanket is bundled up into a net package for disposal. The packages may or may not require a bag closure. A novel net bag closure for such packages is also disclosed. The bag closure also forms a handle for carrying the bundled leaf package. The net blankets may also be hung from trees to catch the leaves thereof before they reach the ground. The netting may be folded and then rolled onto a hollow tube for merchandising, with accessories contained in the hollow tube.
