Abstract: Examples associated with device haptic feedback are described. One example bag includes a power source integrated into the bag. The power source may provide power to an electronic device. The bag includes a device monitor module to monitor a state of the electronic device. A haptic feedback generator provides a haptic signal to a holder of the bag. The signal may be provided in response to a signal from the device monitor module regarding the state of the electronic device.

Abstract: A bag made of plastic film suitable for pouring has first and second side panels and back and bottom gussets extending between the panels. Margins at front and top edges of the first side panel join margins at front and top edges of the second side panel at a first seam. A bottom margin of the back gusset joins a rear margin of the bottom gusset at a second seam with the back gusset terminating at a top, rear part of the first seam and the bottom gusset terminating at a bottom, front part of the first seam. A part of the bag film material integral with the back gusset and rear parts of the first and second side panels is formed as a handle at the rear of the bag. A closeable pouring device is integrated into a top front part of the first seam.

According to the described system, the second container facing the first container is designed with an identical closure that engages in the closure of the first container in the open docking position and forms a channel for the flow in the flow direction together with the closure.

Abstract: An isolation apparatus for transporting and storing objects or human remains. The apparatus is formed of a flexible, foldable, opaque, generally box-like enclosure fabricated of a fiber reinforced plastic film, and welded together to form a sealed, air-tight and/or liquid-tight enclosure. A gas and liquid sealing zipper is positioned along three of four sides of the enclosure, thereby allowing the apparatus to open in a clamshell or suitcase-like manner, for easy access to the interior of the enclosure. An NBC and/or a CBRN filter can be mounted to the apparatus to allow for release of pressure from within the enclosure. An interior liner made of chemical protective fabric can be placed within the enclosure for additional chemical containment.

A plastic slider is slidably mounted to the fastener for movement between an open position and a closed position, and the slider has a separating finger. An end termination is formed at the end portions of the first and second tracks, and the end termination has a shape corresponding to the separating finger.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a gusseted flexible bag In one embodiment, the flexible bag of the present invention is formed from the tube of material having a front side and a rear side. A pair of laterally disposed opposing gusset folds are formed in the tube along its sides. Each of the folds has a longitudinal crease. The bag further has a rear side flap extending from the rear side of the bag across the width of the tube which is folded over onto and hot air sealed to the front side of the tube of material. The gussets each have a slit approximate a first end of the tube thereby forming a front side flap. A front side flap may also be manufactured, if desired, which is then folded over when the rear side flap is folded so that the front side flat rests under the rear side flap. The rear side flap is hot air sealed to the front side of the bag with the front side flap being sealed therebetween.

Abstract: An air-cushioned bag for safely and securely transporting objects (9) is comprised of a housing (1) to store objects (9), an electric pump (3), a pressure sensor (6) and an electrical power source (5). The housing walls are filled with air to different pre-determined pressure values depending on the types of objects (9) to provide safe transportation. The bag also has an electronic controller (12), a unique electronic ID, an electronic lock (10), a remote control (14), an explosive sensor (19) and a GPS device (16). The unique electronic ID and the explosive sensor (19) facilitate secure transportation of the bag. The bag can be remotely tracked during transportation with the remote control (14) or a computer equipped with a GPS tracking system.

Abstract: A storage device for retaining an extended length of floating oil boom therein and a method of using the same. The storage device is made from a sheet of material that is foldable to define and surround an interior cavity in which the oil boom is received. A closure mechanism is engaged to secure the folded storage device about the oil boom. A lifting mechanism on the storage device is engaged with a cable extending from a suspension assembly mounted on a vessel for use on a large body of water. The suspension assembly maintains the storage boom adjacent a side wall of the vessel and a distance above the surface of the water until the oil boom retained therein is needed in an emergency.

The upper end of each of the box walls is folded outwardly and downwardly so that the inside surface of each of the upper ends forms a strip that faces outwardly. The inside surfaces of the box walls, including the outwardly facing strips, have a thermal plastic coating thereon. The combination also includes a bag made of flexible plastic material having a zippered top and downwardly extending front and rear bag walls. While the box is still in its flat blank condition, the lower edge portion of the bag walls are heat sealed to the outwardly facing strips on the box blank. Thereafter. the front, rear and side walls of the box blank are expanded to form a box.

Abstract: A zipper assembly for a reclosable package or bag is disclosed. The zipper assembly includes two profiles with flanges and internal interlocking elements on the interior of the flanges. The exterior of one of the flanges includes two exterior parallel press-to-close profile-like interlocking elements which are brought into engagement with each other by folding the flanges of the zipper assembly. This increases the burst handling capability of the zipper assembly and the package or bag to which it is attached. Alternatives include substituting a peel seal for the exterior interlocking element as well as an exterior label or sticker to maintain the flanges in a folded configuration.

Abstract: A modified flexible package includes a front elastomeric wall and a rear elastomeric wall. The front wall and the rear wall are sealed together at a top seal at a top end of the side walls. The top seal is formed by applying heat and/or pressure for a given dwell period, and is preferably a de-laminating seal. A first zipper part is attached to an inside surface of the front wall and has a first engagement member facing the rear wall. A second zipper part is attached to an inside surface of the rear wall and has a second engagement member facing the front wall. The first and second engagement members are engaged together. Both the top seal and the zipper engagement members are “pinch-grip opened” under a pinch-grip pulling force applied to the front and rear walls below the zipper. The front and rear walls have a strength sufficient to resist tearing and deformation under the application of the pinch-grip pulling force during pinch-grip opening.

Abstract: The present invention provides a bag with a cooler compartment that can store perishable food or medicinal items with generous storage compartments in the interior and on the exterior front, back and sides of the bag. The cooler compartment is lined with thermal plastic lining to maintain cool temperature and is easily washable to clean up after spills. The cooler compartment is flexible and can be increased in size to accommodate larger items. Security features have been added to the bag, so that valuables can be carried safely in the padded exterior back compartments. All exterior and interior compartments feature quick access and ease of use through the use of double-headed zippers, which allow opening of the compartments in either direction. The bag can be worn on the back and is secured there by two padded shoulder straps, which individually have a hook for keys and a mesh pocket for a cell phone for added convenience.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a high burst slider zipper which allows for bottom filling of reclosable packages, such as large bags, and further provides increased resistance to damage from the dropping or shock loading of the filled package. This is achieved by providing a peel seal or other frangible or separable connection between the zipper profiles, and by sealing a portion of one of the flanges to itself by a hard seal above the peel seal. This causes the external forces on a bag from bottom filling or shock loading to be directed toward the hard seal and further directed so as to cause a shear force against the peel seal, thereby increasing the resistance of the package to external forces.

Abstract: An apparatus is capable of collapsing into a smaller configuration is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a first sidewall and a second sidewall interconnected by a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and a top wall to form a collapsible bag. A first zipper track is disposed into the bottom wall connecting between a portion of the bottom wall and a first position. A second zipper track is disposed into the bottom wall opposite to the first zipper track. The second zipper track is located between the portion of the bottom wall and a second position. A zipper slider is provided for connecting together the first zipper track and the second zipper track for coupling of the first zipper track and the second zipper track along the contour of the collapsible bag.

The main body includes an opening, a first sidewall located at one side thereof a second sidewall located at another side oppose side to the first sidewall, and a first female adhesive member mounted to an external side of the first sidewall. The cover member has a male adhesive member mounted to one side thereof for adhesive connection with the first female adhesive member while the cover member is turned to the first sidewall to seal the opening of the main body. The hand strap is fixed to the main body. The main body further has a second female adhesive member mounted to an external side of the second sidewall thereof for connection with the male adhesive member while the main body is folded to fasten the folded main body.

Abstract: A reclosable package comprises a receptacle having first and second walls, respective mouth portions of the front and rear walls forming a mouth that communicates with an interior volume of the receptacle; a zipper having mutually interengageable zipper strips, one zipper strip being joined to the mouth portion of the front wall and the other zipper strip being joined to the mouth portion of the rear wall; a slider mounted to the zipper, the slider initially being parked in a position whereat the zipper is closed along a majority of its length; and a tack seal that resists movement of the slider in an opening direction from the initially parked position. The tack seal is designed to rupture and no longer resist slider movement when a predetermined threshold level of force is exerted by the slider.

Abstract: The present invention provides devices and methods in which humidity is regulated within a housing to reduce over-drying of moisture, sweat, and any other deteriorating liquids introduced into a leather-based product by its use. This over-drying of the leather-based product results in an undesired reduction in the amount of moisture content remaining in the leather which decreases the life span and tactile sensitivity of the leather-based product. A moisture-absorbing chemical, enclosed within a container, is positioned within the housing to stabilize a humidity level within a desired range. This humidity level reduces over-drying of the leather-based product by regulating the amount of moisture that escapes the leather-based product while in the housing. As a result, the life of a leather-based product, such as a sporting glove, is extended by reducing the deleterious effects caused by over-drying of the leather within the product.

Abstract: The technical nature of this invention is the development of a flexible bag, which has a flexible-reflective interior foil that is protected from being damaged by the objects to be placed inside the bag for warming such as fabric items, gloves, pajamas, baby clothes, or construction materials that need to be kept warm. Items are kept warm by a heating pad which is plugged into a standard 120 volt outlet or into a 12 volt DC converter. The bag is portable or can be left in a location where the warmed items need to be used. In industrial or construction applications, the addition of a strap to the bag allows it to be easily carried or hung over a railing for easy dispensing of the items that are being kept warm in the bag. The bag retains heat for an extended period of time when unplugged.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a portable bag comprising a bag body, a zipper, and a strap. Particularly, the strap includes a strap loop with a blocking portion engaging thereto. Further, the blocking portion is inserted into the bag body and fixed therein by a larger outer diameter of the blocking portion than a dimension of a detaching portion while interlocking the zipper, which results in the strap to be a held in the hand or in the shoulder. As a result, the present invention provides with multiple ways for the portability and the convenience in use while carrying out the blocking portion and the articles in the bag.

Abstract: A bag that holds pill-organizers within, which together serve as a rolodex of pill organizers, accommodates several pill organizers that are commercially available in the market in an orderly and secure manner. Similar to a rolodex, the pill organizers in the bag can also be removed individually for refilling with pills and rearranged back into the bag easily. The bag is completely or partially lined on the insides or constructed with loop material such that found on one side of a Velcro®. The pill organizers are provided on their under-side with the hook part of the Velcro®. This makes it possible to temporarily fasten the pill organizers along the inside walls of both sides of the bag. The invention, which is the bag with the pill organizers within, can be completely closed to look like a compact carrying case. The invention has additional spaces to provide documentation and other aids for administration of pills.

Abstract: A length of flanged zipper material for reclosable packages or bags is provided with inverted T-shape endstops wherein the zipper profiles are crushed and the flanges are fused together. The reclosable packages or bags are separated at the mid-point of the inverted T-shaped endstops thereby forming L-shaped and reversed L-shaped endstops. The zipper flanges are fused together in the lower cross elements of the endstop thereby providing an area for the slider to be placed wherein the forces from distension of the package or bag walls are unlikely to exert forces to separate the slider from the zipper. This is particularly applicable to slider zippers wherein the flanges are attached to or substantially co-planar with the exterior sidewalls of the interlocking elements of the zipper profiles.

Abstract: A pouch arrangement includes a distribution aperture arrangement in a gusset member. The gusset member is covered with a removable cover. A zipper closure selectively exposes and closes the gusset member. At an opposite end, a handle arrangement is provided. The pouch construction may be filled with a flowable material through an opening adjacent to the handle arrangement with the zipper unengaged and the gusset expanded and covered by the removable cover. A seal can be applied between the handle arrangement and the gusset to close the opening. The filled pouch is then displayable by resting it on the expanded gusset, with the zipper closure unengaged and the distribution aperture arrangement covered by the removable cover. In use, the removable cover is removed to expose the distribution aperture arrangement. Flowable material is allowed to pass through the distribution aperture arrangement in the gusset. After use, the gusset end of the pouch is closed by engaging the zipper closure.

Abstract: A reclosable packaging having a slider/zipper assembly and a sealed header. The header has a tear notch for initiating tearing of the header material and a line of weakness for continued tearing of the header material at an elevation which is lower than the top of the slider. Most preferably, the line of weakness is lower than the bottom of the slider. When the header is torn along the line of weakness, at least part of the slider is exposed and accessible to the consumer. In one embodiment, the tear notch is located in a side edge at an elevation higher than the top of the slider. A slit is provided which traverses a range of elevations encompassing a first elevation near an elevation of the tear notch and a second elevation near an elevation of the line of weakness.
