  • Patent number: 10465684
Abstract: A rotary compressor includes a cylinder having a cylinder chamber and bush groove, a piston housed in the cylinder chamber, a blade formed with the piston to separate the cylinder chamber into low and high pressure chambers, and a pair of bushes. The bushes are fitted in the bush groove with flat surfaces facing each other to hold the blade. The flat surface of at least the bush on the low-pressure side has a crowned portion starting from a position closer to the back pressure space than a swing center position, and extending toward an edge of the bush closer to the cylinder chamber. The swing center position is where a gap between the blade and the bush is constant while the piston rotates eccentrically.

  • Patent number: 5388913
Abstract: An alignment compensation system for use with parallel linear bearings which isolates the linear motion system load or carriage plate from alignment errors in the system. Spherical bearings are mounted in bearing blocks, each spherical bearing having a support shaft therethrough to support a plate connected to a carriage or load plate. One of the bearings shafts is free to laterally float within its bearing block, thus providing for compensation of lateral misalignment of the linear bearing track. The other spherical bearing is held fixed within its bearing block. The linear system load or carriage plate is mounted on the spherical bearing shafts, thus isolating the carriage plate from alignment errors in the linear motion system.

Abstract: A roller type linear movement guiding device comprises: a plurality of roller type linear movement guiding bearings each having a number of rollers which circulate infinitely while rolling on a flat track surface; a holding board holding the bearings on the flat track surface; a table fixing board mounted over the holding board; and a steel ball inserted in recesses formed in the opposed surfaces of the holding board and the table fixing board at the load centers, so that the table fixing board is poised statically through the steel ball. With the device, even when the table fixing board is inclined, the holding board is held poised statically, whereby the roller type linear movement guiding bearings will never be twisted.

  • Patent number: 5131761
Abstract: In a co-ordinate measuring machine, a linear guideway comprises two tubular guides 14, 16 mounted on a column 10 in a parallel spaced apart relation and extending in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the column 10. The guides 14, 16 are mounted on the column 10 by a plurality of elongate bars 20 formed for example of carbon fibre. The bars 20 are so designed as to allow change in relative length between the guide 14 and the column 10 but to retain the guide 14 in a rigid relation to the column 10 in a direction along the axis of each of the bars 20. The guide 16 is mounted on the column 10 by a plurality of pairs of bars 50 similar to the bars 20. Each of the guides 14, 16 is anchored relative to the column 10 at one respective end. A carriage 12 is slidably mounted on the guides 14, 16 by suitable bearings and requires five degrees of restraint and one degree of freedom in the axial direction of the guides 14, 16.

Abstract: A compressed gas and a liquid are contained in a cylinder. A liquid chamber containing the liquid and a gas chamber containing the gas are divided by a metallic bellows. The liquid chamber is situated on the side of an open end of the cylinder. A rod is inserted in the cylinder. A sealing assembly is provided at the open end of the cylinder. The sealing assembly has a bearing member at only one portion of the cylinder with respect to the axial direction thereof. A space extends throughout the circumference between the outer peripheral surface of the inner end of the rod and the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder. A seal device for sealing the liquid in the liquid chamber includes a seal ring intimately in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the rod and an elastomer ring provided on the outer peripheral surface side of the seal ring and capable of elastic deformation in the radial direction of the rod. The rod can swing within the range of an angle .theta.

  • Patent number: 5064318
Abstract: A guided member is engaged with a guiding member and the guided member and guiding members are movable relative to each other. A pair of planar, parallel guide surfaces on the guide member are engaged by a pair of bearings mounted on the guided member. One of the bearings is resiliently biased into engagement with the guide surface which is less precisely formed so that irregularities in that guide surface or lack of parallelism between the guide surfaces is accommodated by displacement of the biased bearing. The bearings are mounted on bearing supports which depend from either side of a cross piece. The cross piece is secured to the guided member such that a portion of the cross piece is uncoupled from the guided member and is free to be deflected, thus providing the biasing for the biased bearing without transmitting stress to the guided member. Preferably, the apparatus is employed in a machine tool to guide the movement of a worktable.

Abstract: A linear slider may be formed essentially from a block and two parallel shafts mounted through the block. The first shaft runs on coaxial bushings, while the second shaft runs in a single floating bushing. The floating bushing slides perpendicular to the first shaft. The first and second shafts are then coupled to slide as a pair. The first shaft is then free to run back and forth. The second shaft also runs back and forth, but prevents the first shaft from rotating, without binding between the two shafts. Seals and a lubrication system are added to assure a smooth, durable action.
