Roller Patents (Class 384/597)
  • Patent number: 8414194
Abstract: A cylindrical roller bearing assembly capable of increasing the load bearing capability with respect to the thrust load and of easily controlling the shape of the cylindrical roller is provided. The cylindrical roller bearing assembly includes an inner ring, an outer ring and a plurality of cylindrical rollers. One or both of the inner and outer rings has/have a collar. A surface portion encompassed within the region of radial dimensions of 0.12 Da to 0.20 Da as measured from an outer diametric edge of an end face of each of the cylindrical rollers to a roller axis, wherein Da represents an outer diameter of each of the cylindrical rollers is rendered to be a crowned portion of a tapered shape inclined at an angle ?r of 0.25 to 1° relative to a plane perpendicular to the roller axis.

  • Patent number: 7775724
Abstract: A thrust bearing arrangement (2) is provided having a roller body cage (4) holding several roller bodies (6) and at least one race disk (8?, 10?), with the race disk (8?, 10?) having a collar (12) axially surrounding the roller body cage (4) with play and on the opposite end a flange arrangement, which is directed in the opposite axial direction and in whose internal corner a component contacting the race disk (8?, 10?) can be centered. To avoid complicated processing of the peripheral edge of the contacting component facing the internal corner (22?), at least the leg (19?, 27) of the internal corner (22?, 30) forming the flange arrangement (18?, 26) has a relieved inner contour for receiving the component to be centered in the corner region.

  • Patent number: 6259439
Abstract: In the system of the present invention an individual displayed pixel is a weighted combination of a video pixel and a graphics pixel. For example, a pixel displayed on a monitor may be three-quarters graphics and one-quarter video. In this system a color lookup table providing a red, a green and a blue lookup table output value is extended to provide a further lookup table output value. The further lookup table output value is a weight value representative of the relative weights of a video pixel and a corresponding graphics pixel. The weight value is applied to a matrix multiplier which also receives video pixel information and graphics pixel information. The matrix multiplier determines a weighted combination of the video and graphics pixel information according to the weight value to provide a blended pixel. A YUV standard to RGB standard conversion matrix is provided within in order to receive video signals in a YUV format and apply the video signals to the matrix multiplier in an RGB format.

  • Patent number: 5833371
Abstract: Device for transmitting a temperature signal by mechanical means, which consists in the use of a thermostatic element (1) made from expandable material which, when the inner bearing heats up, pushes against a rod (2) secured to a disc-carrying piece (3) and, simultaneously, to a disc (4), which, if the temperature is sufficiently high, is displaced until it comes into contact with the outer cover (5) of the bearing mounted on the other side of the wheel, that is to say on the outside, and the higher the temperature reached by the inner bearing, the greater will be the pressure exerted by the disc (4) on the cover (5) and the more rapidly the threshold detection temperature will rise, which temperature will be picked up by the pick-up device located on the track.
