  • Patent number: 9431059
Abstract: An information processing method applied in an electric device is disclosed. The method comprises: acquiring at least one play parameter for characterizing a playing history of a first video from the network side and/or a storage unit of an electric device; generating and displaying a play progress bar corresponding to the first video on a display unit of the electric device based on the at least one play parameter, wherein the play progress bar has at least a first portion displayed in a first pattern and a second portion displayed in a second pattern different from the first pattern. Such solution provided by the invention provides a new display approach for the play progress bar, and addresses the technical problem that a video can only be segmented or prompted by the play progress bar of the video according to the content of the video.

  • Patent number: 8676024
Abstract: Video data pieces are classified into groups according to prescribed rules. A cut number assigned to each of the groups is decided on the basis of the length or lengths of a video data piece or pieces in each of the groups and the number of the video data piece or pieces in each of the groups. A cut or cuts are extracted from the video data piece or pieces in each of the groups. Regarding each of the groups, the number of the extracted cut or cuts is equal to the decided cut number. Digest data is generated from the extracted cuts for all the groups.

  • Patent number: 8031717
Abstract: When stored stream data is deleted/edited, the packet sequence completely included in a deletion range is deleted from the stream data, and the stream data is segmented into first stream data before the start point of the deletion range and second stream data after the end point of the deletion range. First and second stream management data corresponding to the first and second stream data are generated. The index value of the packet including the start point of the deletion range is written in the header of the first stream management data. The index value of the packet including the end point of the deletion range is written in the header of the second stream management data. In addition, an index base value for correcting the index value is written in the header of the second stream management data.
