  • Patent number: 9729095
Abstract: A stepping motor control circuit includes a drive pulse generation section that generates forward-rotation drive pulses that drive a stepping motor stepwise in a forward rotation direction and reverse-rotation drive pulses that drive the stepping motor stepwise in a reverse rotation direction and a forward/reverse rotation switching control section that switches the drive pulses outputted to the stepping motor from one of the forward-rotation drive pulses and the reverse-rotation drive pulses to the other, and the forward/reverse rotation switching control section switches the drive pulses outputted to the stepping motor from one of the forward-rotation drive pulses and the reverse-rotation drive pulses to the other and then provide a predetermined period before the other drive pulses are outputted to the stepping motor.

  • Patent number: 8342726
Abstract: A vehicle headlamp includes a first light source, at least one second light source and an integrally designed, transparent shaped part. The shaped part includes a first optical structure for orienting light radiated by the first light source and at least one second optical structure for orienting light radiated by the second light source. The first optical structure and the second optical structure each have a continuously curved surface or a continuous, curved surface with an extent of at least in each case half a centimeter, in particular one centimeter, in two orthogonal directions.

  • Patent number: 7768726
Abstract: A lens drive device capable of preventing a lens holder from inclining with respect to the optical axis direction of a lens is provided. A first gear (13), a second gear (14), a protrusion (20a), and a coil spring (6) are coaxially supported by a shaft (5), which is a fixed shaft. The rotational motion is transmitted to a two-stage gear (12) by rotating a rotor (11a) of a step motor (11) clockwise or counterclockwise. The rotational motion of the two-stage gear (12) is in turn transmitted to the first gear (13) and the second gear (14). When the first gear (13) and the second gear (14) rotate, the degree of engagement between an internally threaded portion (131a) of the first gear (13) and an externally threaded portion (141a) of the second gear (14) increases, and the second gear (14) moves upward. As the second gear (14) moves upward, a lens holder (20), urged upward by the elastic force of the coil spring (6), moves upward along the optical axis of a lens (21).

  • Patent number: 7253575
Abstract: A highly versatile optical shutter for industrial and scientific applications is disclosed. The has a aperture which defines a light path through the shutter, and a shutter vane or blade that is moved into and out of the light path using a precision, microprocessor controlled motor, such as a stepping motor. Preferably, the motor is mounted on the shutter housing using a shock absorbing material. A control unit associated with the shutter comprises the microprocessor, a motor driver, preferably one which is capable of microstepping the motor, and a non-volatile memory device, such as EEPROM, which stores a plurality of shutter control programs defining different trajectories of the shutter vane. Different programs may be used, for example, to maximize shutter speed or frequency, or to minimize vibrations.

  • Patent number: 6477328
Abstract: A shutter for a camera comprises sectors for opening and closing a shutter opening by reciprocal pivotal movement, a motor for reciprocally and pivotally moving the sectors by forwardly and reversely rotating a rotor of the motor by forward and reverse electricity conduction to a coil, a memory circuit having stored therein electricity conduction data of the coil corresponding to operational characteristics of the motor and the sectors, and a control circuit for controlling electricity conduction to the coil in accordance with a brightness of an object to be photographed and executing exposure control in accordance with the brightness of the object. The electricity conduction data includes reverse pulses for rotating the rotor in a direction reverse to a direction of opening the sectors for reducing acceleration of the sectors during opening movement thereof, and forward pulses for rotating the rotor in the direction of opening the sectors for continuing the opening movement of the sectors.
