Including Preobjective Mask Patents (Class 396/337)
  • Patent number: 11647175
Abstract: An optical system comprises an imaging lens for imaging an object to an image and a sensing pixel array for detecting lights from the object toward the image. The sensing pixel array comprises a first sensing pixel and a second sensing pixel, each sensing pixel comprising a microlens covering a one-dimensional series of photodiodes having n photodiodes. A photodiode at an end of the one-dimensional series of photodiodes of the first sensing pixel detects a first light from the object toward the image, and a photodiode at an opposite end of the one-dimensional series of photodiodes of the second sensing pixel detects a second light from the object toward the image, where the first light and the second light pass opposite parts of the imaging lens.

  • Patent number: 11378866
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an imaging apparatus and an imaging method that permit capture of a bright image without using an expensive large-diameter lens. A mirror surface having an opening portion larger in area than an imaging element is formed at a former stage of the imaging element. The mirror surface concentrates light from a subject surface. The imaging apparatus captures an image formed by light that directly enters the imaging element and light that is reflected by the mirror surface and reconstructs a final image from the captured image. The present disclosure is applicable to an imaging apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10401705
Abstract: A camera is configured for use with a removable camera lens cover, which can be secured to or removed from the camera by a user without the use of a tool set. The mechanism which allows the lens cover to be secured to and removed from the camera includes a set of wires embedded into the lens cover and a set of wedges protruding from the lens wall of the camera. To secure the lens cover to the camera, the lens cover is placed onto the front of the camera and rotated until the wires align with corresponding wedges, securing the wires underneath the tapered surface of the wedges. To remove the lens cover from the camera, a force is applied outward and normal to the lens cover, causing the wires to flex outward and enabling the rotation and removal of the lens cover from the camera.

  • Patent number: 9939714
Abstract: A periscope module includes a mounting ring for mounting the periscope module over a camera lens of a mobile phone. A first periscope end is for attachment to the mobile phone at the mounting ring. A second periscope end is for capturing images. A periscope tube is connected between the first periscope end and the second periscope end. A light tube is configured for attachment to a light source from the mobile phone. The light tube is configured to receive light into the first periscope end, the light exiting the second periscope end so as to provide illumination for capturing intra-oral images.

  • Patent number: 9630568
Abstract: A camera system for acquiring a stereo image of the surroundings of a motor vehicle having two cameras and a control device, the camera system being arranged on the inside of a motor vehicle window and the two cameras looking outward through the motor vehicle window in order to observe the surroundings. Each of the two cameras has a camera-specific camera viewing cone which forms a penetrating cut surface with the window surface. In order to delimit the installation space of the camera system, the camera viewing cone of each camera is delimited by cropping the penetrating cut surface, the cropping of the two penetrating cut surfaces being performed symmetrically relative to the vertical plane of symmetry of the two cameras. The erroneous formation in the image of one camera viewing cone is compensated in the control device by the image information of the other camera viewing cone.

  • Patent number: 7403710
Abstract: This invention provides an image processing apparatus that corrects an image blur by using a plurality of images acquired by image capturing means. The apparatus comprises: blur detection means that detects a blur amount between the plurality of images; image composition means that performs the composition of the plurality of images using the detected blur amount; acquisition means that acquires, based on a difference value between the plurality of images and a threshold value thereof, region data for separating the image into regions by changing the threshold value; and display means that selectably displays the region data for each threshold value.

  • Patent number: 6208815
Abstract: A method for differentiating or detecting particles in a sample in which several classes of particles may be present by identifying signal segments of time-resolved, optical raw signals from the sample on the basis of single photon detection (single pulse detection), wherein the sample contains at least two classes of particles; the sample is illuminated by a light source; the optical raw signals emitted by the sample, which are derived from at least one measuring volume element V, V≦10−12 l, are detected with at least one detector unit; at least one particle generates a signal fraction during its residence in the measuring in the measuring volume element; a signal segment of the optical raw signals is determined by the particle's actively and/or passively entering and then leaving again the measuring volume element; the optical raw signals are segmented into arbitrary segments; at least one set of statistical data based on the optical raw signals is established for at least one arbitrarily chos

  • Patent number: 5570150
Abstract: A stereo photographing system having a stereo adapter for photographing two separate images of a same subject viewed from different points and formed onto one picture frame next to each other, and a camera including a finder and a photographing lens to which the stereo adapter can be detachably attached at the front end of the photographing lens. The stereo photographing system further includes a finder viewing field determining means provided in an optical path of the finder for selectively determining either a regular viewing field or a stereo viewing field, a detecting means which detects the stereo adapter when the stereo adapter is mounted to the camera, and a switching means which swatches between the regular viewing field and the stereo viewing field determined by the viewing field determining means in accordance with the detecting means.
