Abstract: An optical system to attain a clear image of an object when the object is photographed in a state where an optical axis of a lens is inclined relative to the object, includes a lens which refracts light radiating from the object, an image producing surface on which the image of the object is produced according to the light refracted by the lens, and an image producing surface control unit which controls the image producing surface to move with respect to the lens. The image producing surface control unit includes an angle control unit to control an angle between an optical axis of the lens and the image producing surface.

Abstract: A hand held stabilizer holder for hand held cameras comprises a first frame having a hand grip and a pivot mount spaced from the hand grip; a second frame pivotally mounted to the first frame at the pivot mount, and a camera mount on the second frame disposed below the pivot mount so that the camera remains in its orientation upon pivoting of the holder.
Abstract: A camera is described with objective lens and image reception carrier equipment and a focussing process. From related extension measured distances (x1-x2, x2-x3, .delta.b), final adjusted, set-point focus values (.theta..sub.soll, .PHI..sub.soll) are obtained in the course of the focussing of various image points (B1, B2, B3) for a multiply pivotable, bellows camera which produces the pivoting angles (.alpha., .beta., .theta., .PHI.), the latter used for a double focussing compensation; by this means, the direct making of an exact spatial interval distance measurement between the objective lens carrier (OT) and the and image carrier (BT) is dispensed with, since at least a relatively accurate extension measurement (.delta.b) at a predetermined objective lens setting is obtained and evaluated. The optical bench (OB) can be equipped with a raster arrangement for the image carrier (B1), the objective lens carrier (OT) and be constructed in sections (OB1, OB2).
Abstract: A multi-stage focus box camera is disclosed which comprises a tubular body open at both ends formed of a dimensionally stable, light weight material. A lens board and lens extender assembly slides over one end of the camera body and is adapted for slidingly carrying a lens mount for a lens. A film board fits over the opposite end of the camera body and is adapted to receive a film holder which closes the back side of the body and which defines a film support for sheet film. In addition the film board may include a viewing device, such as a ground glass plate in place of the film board, by which an image may be focused. Both the lens board and lens extender assembly and the film board are slidable on the camera body and are movable between retracted and extended positions to provide different focus stages for the camera. In addition the lens board and lens extender assembly and the film board can be moved on the camera body to position the lens body to adjust the depth of field by slanting these components.
