Abstract: An audio and video streaming device includes a device main body and a lens cover. The device main body includes a power source, a lens element, an audio and video output unit and a sensing and controlling module. When the power source is in an on state and a relationship between the lens cover and the lens element is in an opened state, the sensing and controlling module issues an audio and video streaming signal to the audio and video output unit. When the power source is in the on state and the relationship between the lens cover and the lens element is in a closed state, the sensing and controlling module stops issuing the audio and video streaming signal, and the power source is maintained in the on state.

Abstract: When a second cam gear and a first cam gear rotate one turn, a shutter device changes to a first state, a second state, and a third state in this order. In the first state, the second cam gear charges a mirror lever drive spring and a blade drive spring, so that the first cam gear holds the blade lever. In the second state, the second cam gear releases charging of the mirror lever drive spring and charges the blade drive spring, so that the first cam gear releases holding of the blade lever. In the third state, the second cam gear releases charging of the mirror lever drive spring and charging of the blade drive spring, so that the first cam gear releases holding of the blade lever.

  • Patent number: 8414203
Abstract: A barrier device in which excessive relative displacements of barrier blades in an optical axis direction are restricted to ensure a normal opening and closing operation of the barrier blades. The barrier device has second, first, and third barrier blades disposed in this order in the optical axis direction. Restriction portions of the first barrier blades have through portions extending from shielding portions in the optical axis direction and extending through elongated holes of the second barrier blades, and have extension portions extending parallel to the shielding portions from image-plane-side ends of the through portions and positioned on the image plane side of the second barrier blades. During the entire stroke of opening and closing of the barrier blades, the extension portions can be engaged with the shielding portions, whereby the second barrier blades are restricted from moving away from the first barrier blades.

Abstract: A shutter control device performs photography by operating a shutter housed in a lens barrel, and comprises a communication port, a shutter control unit and a memory. The communication port transmits and receives signals between the camera body and the lens barrel. The shutter control unit is provided in the camera body to output a shutter control signal. The memory is provided in the lens barrel to store shutter delay information regarding a time delay from when the shutter control signal is input to the lens barrel until when the shutter is closed. The shutter control unit receives the shutter delay information from the lens barrel and transmits the shutter control signal to the lens barrel through the communication port, ahead of an exposure time as determined by photometry, by an amount of time equal to the time delay.

  • Patent number: 8246258
Abstract: An exemplary mechanical shutter includes a base with a through hole defined therein, a blade arranged on the base, two shape memory alloy units, and a control unit. Each of the two shape memory alloy units includes a first end and a opposite second end. The first end of the shape memory alloy element is attached to the base, and the second end is attached to the blade. The control unit is configured for controlling the two shape memory alloy units to selectively deform into a first shape, or into a second shape. In particular, the two shape memory alloy units each straighten to a first shape (straight shape) and move the blade to cover the through hole. In addition, the two shape memory alloy units each deform to a second shape (spring coil shape) and thus move the blade away from the through hole to expose the through hole.

Abstract: A robust, compact, lightweight, low energy, low cost, and low noise mechanical mechanism suitable for military and other demanding applications includes a Geneva drive that transitions a camera shutter or other element between two positions and locks the shutter or other element in place between transitions, thereby isolating the remainder of the mechanism from shutter vibrations and torques. Accordingly, the mechanism controlling the Geneva drive need not be especially robust even for military applications, and can be similar in size, weight, energy consumption, and noise to a conventional shutter mechanism. The driving mechanism can include a rotary actuator or a linear actuator with a rack gear. In various embodiments the driving mechanism includes a piezomotor. In certain embodiments, the starting and ending positions of the mechanism are determined by sensors, and in some embodiments the starting and ending positions are adjustable.
