    Abstract: In an image forming apparatus containing a developing device containing a toner housed therein and feeding the toner onto a photoreceptor to form a toner image, and a cleaning blade removing the toner remaining on the photoreceptor after transferring the toner image formed on the photoreceptor to a transfer medium, a toner having a particle diameter of from 5 to 8 ?m and a degree of circularity of from 0.925 to 0.965 and having a lubricant added to a surface thereof in an amount of from 0.01 to 0.125 wt % is used, and the cleaning blade has a hardness of from 60 to 80, a 300% modulus of from 100 to 420 kg/cm2, a tear strength of from 35 to 120 kg/cm, a repulsive elasticity at 10° C. of from 10 to 50%, and a repulsive elasticity at 40° C. of from 40 to 80%.
