Abstract: The present invention relates to a toilet in which the bowl (1) has at least one bearing (4) with an open cross section, preferably a curved wall, particularly in the general shape of a C, against which is rotatably engaged at least one part forming a pivot (20) attached to a moving part such as a flap forming a lid, a seat or a urinal, characterized in that said pivot (20) and said bowl each comprise means of mutual magnetic attraction (6) so arranged that said moving part (2) can be moved between a lowered position resting on the bowl (1) or roughly parallel to the upper plane of the bowl, and a raised position, wherein said pivot (20) is engaged in said bearing (4), and this pivot (20) can be separated from said bearing (4) provided said moving part (2) is pulled strongly enough to overcome the force of magnetic attraction.

The size of the second through hole is smaller than the perimeter size of the head. The base first encircles the head with the first through hole. Then, after the base is moved, the screw rod embeds in and fixes to the second through hole.

Abstract: A toilet hinge includes a hinge body adapted for pivotally coupling with the toilet seat, a hinge base, which is adapted for attaching on the toilet bowl of the toilet, detachably coupled with the hinge body for detachably coupling the toilet seat on the toilet bowl; and a locking arrangement which includes a retention lock operatively moving between a locking status that locks up the hinge body with the hinge base and a releasing status that unlock the hinge body the said hinge base, and a self-lock retaining the retention lock at the releasing status. The user is able to easily remove the toilet seat by unlocking the retention lock such that the retention lock is remained at the releasing status by the self-lock. Therefore, the toilet seat is adapted to be removed from the toilet bowl by detaching the hinge body from the hinge base.

Abstract: A toilet seat hinge assembly is provided that includes: a hinge configured for attachment to a toilet seat, a fastener including an expandable head; and a cap formed integrally with the hinge. The cap includes an engaging element extending from the first surface of the cap. The engaging element is configured to engage and expand the head of the fastener in order to releasably connect the toilet seat hinge assembly to a toilet bowl when the cap is in a first position relative to the base portion. A toilet seat assembly including the toilet seat hinge assembly is also provided.

A cylindrical receptacle retainer surrounds and engages each receptacle over most of its length and engages the underside of the bowl to positively secure the receptacle in the bowl flange aperture.

An elongate post is secured to and extends downwardly from each of the post holders. A post receptacle is secured in each of the bowl flange apertures and extends there beyond. A cylindrical receptacle retainer engages each receptacle over its length and engages the bowl to secure the receptacle in the bowl flange aperture. The elongate posts extend downwardly from each of the post holders and pass through and beyond the aligned receptacles. The posts have sufficient length to permit the seat to be elevated above the bowl flange to the over center maintenance position to provide adequate space for easy maintenance.

A lid is pivotably mounted on the hinge base to pivot between a first position where a rearward portion of the lid is positioned behind the mounting plate, and a second position where it is not.

The seat assembly can then be reversibly removed for cleaning by merely removing and replacing the screw without having to reach under the flange. The screw can have a gripping head so that it can be rotated without the need for a screwdriver, or there can be a slot centered on the top of the head so that a screwdriver can be used.

Abstract: An ultra-light weight portable toilet seat and supporting leg assemblies for backpacking, camping and travel use, comprised of a folding seat and multiple adjustable legs for height variation. The seat is comprised of a top surface and a bottom surface, a back section and a front section, and an open center. The multiple legs attach into the bottom section and angle downward to meet the ground. The bottom section of the seat has an interior space designed to receive the adjustable legs which when fully retracted will friction fit into place by the designed form. The back section and the front section are held together by a center axis to allow the seat to close, concealing the legs in a clamshell fashion. The portable toilet assembly can be used over a pre-dug hole or with the waste container.

Abstract: A bolt assembly for use with a toilet seat bracket that permits the toilet seat to be removed and replaced for cleaning without the necessity of reaching below the toilet bowl or toilet bowl flange and the method of using same. A threaded rod is passed through the flange and held in place with a first nut below the flange and a second nut above the flange. Once the rod is in place there is no reason to have to reach under the flange. The bracket of the toilet seat is then placed over the rod and secured with a third nut. A cap on the bracket conceals the rod and nut. The toilet seat can easily be removed by merely removing the third nut and lifting the seat off the flange. Another embodiment utilized a threaded opening in the toilet bowl flange so that a bolt can be admitted from above the flange to secure and remove the toilet seat. A further embodiment uses a tubular insert with a threaded inner wall affixed into the flange opening to receive the bolt.

The device also comprises a hinge having an air pathway fluidly connected to the output vent hole of the seat and fluidly connected to a hollow chamber in a toilet bowl. The hollow chamber comprises an air pump which actively moves the captured odorous vapors from the hollow chamber into the rear portion of the waste water drainage network of the toilet. The kit comprises the device and an annular gasket. The method of using the kit comprises the steps of activating, connecting, defecating, flushing, mounting, obtaining, placing, and plumbing.

Abstract: A positioning assembly structured to orient a toilet seat in either a raised or lowered position including a drive assembly comprising an electrically powered, reversible drive motor rotationally connected to a drive shaft. The drive shaft rotationally drives a hinge assembly pivotally mounting the toilet seat to a toilet bowl. A control assembly includes a manually operable switch assembly, which may be in the form of a foot pedal or other activatible control facility. The drive assembly, while having sufficient output capacity to move the seat may be of a size which facilitates its mounting on the toilet bowl, adjacent the seat and in direct driving relation to the hinge assembly. Two lift blocks are attached to the bottom surface of the toilet seat. When the two lift blocks set on the bowl rim, the toilet seat is supported in a generally horizontal position. A third lift block can be attached to front portion of the toilet seat to support the seat and to function as a spray guard. Recesses on the top of the lift blocks provide space for pads on the bottom surface of the toilet seat.

Abstract: An articulation for a toilet seat for securing a seat assembly to a ceramic body, wherein the lowering movement of the seat assembly may be braked with the aid of a damping means. The damping means is connected via an adapter member with the fastening means of the seat assembly, wherein adapter member and damping means form the rotation axis for the seat assembly.

Abstract: A quick release hinge assembly for a toilet seat is disclosed. The assembly including a pair of fasteners each having a flange for engaging a toilet bowl when attached thereto and a head spaced above the flange. An anchor plate having a pair of slots formed on the bottom side thereof which cooperate with the heads of the fasteners to secure the anchor plate to a toilet bowl. The anchor plate further including a resiliently biased latch formed in the top surface thereof which locks and unlocks the anchor plate from one of the fastener heads to permit the anchor plate to slide off of the fasteners and a pair of spaced hinge mounting supports extending from the anchor plate to which a toilet seat and lid can be pivotally coupled.
