With Flow Control Valve Patents (Class 4/255.06)
  • Patent number: 11686077
Abstract: A pipe unclogging device and system are disclosed. The device allows a user to clear a blockage in a pipe downstream from the start of the pipe system quickly and easily. To do so, the device provides a pipe with a branch portion, with a plunger device operably coupled to the branch portion. In use, the plunger device is actuatable to plunge fluid in the pipe, or it can be removed to provide a user direct access to the pipe system for other unclogging tools, such as a plumbing snake.

  • Patent number: 11098466
Abstract: A flexible and locking faucet has a body, base and spray head. The body connects the base to a spray head. The body includes a frame and a fluid supply line. The fluid supply line changes shape due to the internal fluid pressure change. The fluid supply line's change of shape allows the frame to become flexible or locked. The spray head is connected to the body and may be maneuvered and positioned depending the state of the body.

  • Patent number: 9051721
Abstract: An improved drain unclogging device of the type having a drain bladder for sealing in the drain and a water source interface in fluid communication with the drain bladder and fluidly interfacing with a water source to provide high pressure water to and exit from the drain bladder to unclog the drain. The improvement includes a sliding bladder restrictor that is movable over the drain bladder and restricts a portion of the drain bladder that remains outside the drain to prevent distortion of that portion of the drain bladder that would reduce pressure of the high pressure water that is exiting the drain bladder and unclogging the drain.

  • Publication number: 20130025039
Abstract: A system for clearing a clog includes a body, for example a sink or toilet, has an interior chamber fluidly connected a sewer or drain field. A wastewater passage has a wastewater valve and a trap therein and an outlet which is fluidly connected through a drain line to the sewer or drain field, the passage opening to the chamber. A pressurized water supply line is provided to selectively discharge water into the chamber. A shunt valve fluidly connects the supply line to the wastewater passage intermediate the wastewater valve and the outlet. During normal use the shunt valve is closed and the wastewater valve is open, however, when a clog occurs, the wastewater valve is closed and the shunt valve is opened to apply water under pressure to clear the clog.

  • Patent number: 8302217
Abstract: A valve mechanism for controlling release of pressurized fluid includes a fluid chamber. A plunger is received in an aperture in the fluid chamber, and is movable between a fluid retention position in which fluid is substantially trapped in the fluid chamber and a fluid release position in which fluid can escape from the fluid chamber through passages in the plunger. The plunger is biased into the fluid retention position. A driver drives a plunger actuator, and the plunger actuator is guided into engagement with the plunger to cause the plunger and the plunger actuator to move in unison and move the plunger into the fluid release position during a first portion of a stroke of the driver towards the fluid chamber, and the plunger actuator is further guided to permit the plunger to return to the fluid retention position during a second portion of the stroke.

  • Patent number: 7448405
Abstract: Dual valve and tri-valve drain and pipe-cleaning devices which are characterized by a length of pipe having one or two valves such as gate valves and a nipple extending from the pipe and fitted with a third valve for receiving a flush hose or the outlet nozzle of a compressed air cylinder. When the cleaning device is inserted in the drain line beneath a sink or drain system, the valves can be manipulated to flush the drain line, including the main drain line extending from the sink or drain, by the introduction of water under pressure or compressed air, as desired. Clearing of the drain line(s) downstream of the cleaning device is typically effected using the dual valve system, while flushing of the downstream drain line as well as that portion of the drain extending from the sink or drain system area to the device, is achieved using the tri-valve device.

  • Patent number: 6892401
Abstract: A compressed air tool for unclogging drains includes an air chamber for storing compressed air. A one-way air inlet is fluidly coupled to the air chamber. An outlet valve selectively allows compressed air from the air chamber to enter a tube fluidly coupled to the air chamber. A free end of the tube may be positioned in the drain. A first check valve and a second check valve are each fluidly coupled to the air chamber and are each positionable in a retracted position or an extended position.
