With Head Structure That Increases Velocity Or Turbulence Patents (Class 4/255.09)
  • Patent number: 11618061
Abstract: A device is provided to clean, disinfect, and unclog a plumbing outlet. The device includes a cylindrical body (2) defining a fluid conduit between a first end configured to fit to a tap of pressurized fluid outlet (3). The cylindrical body has a diameter reducer (21) that narrows in diameter from the first end to a second end and forms an internal housing (22). The diameter reducer (22) induces a Venturi effect in water passing therethrough from the tap of pressurized fluid outlet (3). The device further includes a tube in fluid communication with the second end, a dome receiving an end of the tube and configured to surround the plumbing outlet and through which the water passes to clean, disinfect and unclog the plumbing outlet. A bar (5) of detergent or another chemical operative to clean, disinfect or unclog is configured to reside in the internal housing (22).

Abstract: A plumbing trap flushing device for use in association with one of a drain in a sink, an overflow drain in a basin, a drain in a bathtub, an overflow drain in a bathtub or shower and the like is disclosed. The plumbing trap flushing device includes a connector, a conduit and a nozzle. The connector is releasably and operably attachable to a spout of a tap. The conduit is in flow communication with the connector and has an outside diameter and an inside diameter. The outside diameter is dimensioned to fit into the drain, whereby when the conduit is in the drain air and water freely flows around the conduit into the drain. The nozzle is in flow communication with the distal end of the conduit. The nozzle has a nozzle inside diameter less than the inside diameter of the conduit whereby the water exits the nozzle in a stream.

  • Patent number: 8418275
Abstract: The system for unclogging toilets is a pressurized air-based unclogging system for toilets, allowing clogs formed on either side of a bend in a toilet outflow pipe to be cleared simultaneously. The system includes a tube mounted on a toilet so that a pair of peripheral apertures and a central aperture formed through a lower end thereof communicate with an interior of the bend of the pipe. A plunger is slidably mounted within an interior of the tube, and has an expandable bladder mounted thereto. An air pump delivers pressurized air to the interior of the tube through a port formed through an upper end thereof so that the plunger is driven downward while simultaneously filling the expandable bladder, which projects through the central aperture. The expandable bladder creates a barrier within the bend and pressurized air flowing through the peripheral apertures is delivered to either side of the bend.

  • Patent number: 8250679
Abstract: A plunger apparatus, comprising a force cup assembly having a top edge, a neck, and a first bottom edge. An elongated connector has a tube comprising a first top end and a first bottom end. A housing assembly has a second top end and a second bottom edge. An adaptor has a third top end and a third bottom edge. A valve assembly comprises a valve and a fitting. The force cup assembly comprises at least one ridge and the second bottom edge rests upon the at least one ridge. In operation, a force is placed upon the valve assembly, thus biasing the second bottom edge against the at least one ridge to cause the first bottom edge to form a seal upon a drain. Flushing means comprise liquid matter entering via the fitting and flowing through the elongated connector and the force cup assembly when the valve is actuated.

  • Patent number: 6295659
Abstract: An assembly useful in directing a narrow water stream against an obstruction inside drain plumbing includes an exteriortubular housing within which a spray wand may be telescopically received. A resilient seal is engaged to the free end of the wand, for capture between the tubular housing and the surface around the drain plumbing openings. The other end of the wand is connected across a valve to a source of water at pressure to be ejected through an axial drilling in the free end towards the obstruction. The lateral edge of the tubular housing may include cut-outs to allow manipulation of the valve handle once the valve is secured to the housing.
