A rear surface of the tank is flush against a wall of the bathroom such that there is no gap between the tank and the wall and a bottom surface of the tank is flush against a floor of the bathroom such that there is no gap between the tank and the floor. The tank extends longitudinally above and below the toilet bowl and laterally outward past the toilet bowl such that a first side surface and a second side surface of the tank define outermost side peripheries of the toilet.

Abstract: A urinary device is attachable to a toilet and assists males in directing a flow of urine into the toilet. The device is installed between a toilet seat and tank and pivots to a vertical or near vertical position against the tank when not in use. A telescoping portion extends for tall or short males. The device may be installed on any standard toilet in a few minutes. A bypass may be included to direct urine into a drain avoiding the toilet bowl and the need to flush the toilet. The urinary device reduces or eliminates germs and odors on or around the toilet and is easy to clean using water and a household cleaner.

Abstract: A support panel assembly includes a lower panel, an upper panel pivotally coupled to the lower panel by a central pedestal, and a first pressure sensor located about a center of the support panel assembly, and coupled to the central pedestal. The first pressure sensor detects pressure exerted into the upper panel in response to the upper panel pivoting in relation to the lower panel about the central pedestal. The first pressure sensor outputs a pressure signal indicative of pressure exerted into the upper panel. In at least one embodiment, the pressure signal is received by a detecting control unit.

Abstract: The object of this urinal attachment is to prevent men from splashing urine into the bathroom floor whenever they urinate in standing position. The attachment, entirely mounted on the gap between toilet seat and toilet water tank, has a funnel connecting to top end of an extendable tube with a bottom end fastened at and draining urine into the toilet bowl, an arm for manipulating the funnel and the tube, to move the funnel close to crotch area before use or to replace the funnel and the tube into storage position. Many prior art do not have covers; they appear to be extraneous or unsightly devices in the bathroom. This invention is aesthetically pleasing because its novel location allows for a casing that hides the attachment when not in use and that blends well in color, texture and symmetry of conventional toilets.

The nature of the bilateral curvature of the device prevents individuals standing in close proximity to the user from viewing the users' private regions.

The middle frame section is reconfigurable between a deployed configuration and a stowed configuration. Abstract: A portable toilet system for people with mobility problems is provided. The system includes a stationary docking unit having a sewer port and a water tank with a flush mechanism, and a mobile toilet unit having a toilet bowl formed on a mobile base. The mobile toilet unit is configured to be attached to the stationary docking unit after used by a user so that the toilet bowl is flushed with water from the water tank by activating the flush mechanism so as to remove waste from the toilet bowl and discharge the waste through the sewer port of the stationary unit.

Abstract: A toilet bowl provides maximum flexibility in installation and use. Substantially, the bellows-like closing and opening (foldability) of the bowl allows the mounting in very restricted settings, even if the bowl preferably has a standard size. The use of simple, manual or automatic systems in order to pass from open to closed positions, and vice versa, allows an easy use that does not nullify the advantages in terms of bulk. The advantages are also increased by the possibility to use a suction pump, since in such a manner not only will there be the benefits regarding bulk but also those due to the possibility of using a minimal quantity of water during discharge; of course, it is still possible to equip the pump with the normal “siphon” discharge system. The bowl is perfectly watertight, since between the strips of the “bellows”, there are suitable, perfectly cleanable gaskets with self-cleaning function.

Abstract: A sanitary module for a rail vehicle has a trough-shaped floor region and side panels. The side panels have on their inside a recess in the floor region, in the cross-section of which ramp-like sealing profile sections are provided, the vertically running side areas of which are in contact with associated recess areas of the side panels. The sealing profiles are formed for fastening onto a baseplate. A floor covering forms the trough-shaped floor region of the sanitary module and extends across the ramp-like sides of the covering profiles. Sealing material is introduced in the upper part of the recess of the side panels in such a manner that the floor covering is closed flush with the side panels above the recess thereof.

The lavatory system has a commode with a front and a rear coupled to a base and configured to pivot between a deployed position and a stowed position, and a detent engaged between the commode and the base. The apparatus comprises a member adjacent the front of the commode and operatively coupled to the detent, the member configured to disengage the commode from the base by actuation of the detent so that the commode can be moved from the deployed position toward the stowed position.

The apparatus generally includes a turntable module rotatably coupled to supporting structure within the mobile platform. The turntable module can be rotated to a first angular position in which the turntable module is substantially within the compartment but outside the predetermined area. The turntable module can also be rotated to a second angular position in which the turntable module is substantially within the predetermined area but outside the compartment. The turntable module supports at least one item, such as a lavatory sink, which is accessible from within the compartment when the turntable module is in the second angular position.

Abstract: A dual pivot expandable lavatory for use in limited spaces such as on an airplane. The lavatory may be positioned proximate the doorway area of the airplane, and is provided with a primary and a secondary pivotable module. Each module is pivotably attached to a stationary assembly conventionally affixed to the ceiling and floor of the airplane. During take-off and landing both modules are locked, by means of a locking system, in a stowed position within the stationary assembly. During routine flight, the locking system is unlocked and both modules are pivoted into a deployed position within the doorway area. A flight attendant's seat may be affixed to the exterior of the primary module. If the seat is used, an additional support foot is affixed to the primary module to accommodate the additional loading on the lavatory.

Abstract: The lavatory has a housing in which a dish-like bowl having a seat is pivotably inserted. The bowl can be swivelled from a position of use into a flushing position. Furthermore, a cleaning apparatus which serves for cleaning the seat and the bowl with pressurized water in the flushing position is arranged in the housing. This cleaning apparatus has for this purpose a cover which overlaps the spray nozzles serving for cleaning the bowl and seat. In the flushing position, the cover and the bowl together bound a cleaning space which is sealed fluid-tight from the interior of the housing. During the cleaning process, even contaminants adhering stubbornly to seat surface or inner wall of the bowl are removed by the pressurized water and washed in the direction of the feces drain. After the cleaning with pressurized water, the bowl and the seat are dried with cold or hot air, for which purpose the cleaning apparatus is additionally provided with a fan.

Abstract: A stowable and deployable toilet arrangement provides a moveably configured toilet that may be deployed by a user, used, and subsequently stowed into an alcove until next required for use. The toilet includes a discharge port for discharging wastes from the toilet. The discharge port is coupled by an extendible discharge tube that is coupled to a suitable waste receiving repository such as a cesspool or a sewer system. A friction reducing arrangement is included to enable the toilet to be easily rolled from a stowed position to a deployed position, and visa versa. The toilet arrangement may also include a linear actuator to automatically deploy or stow the toilet when a user activates a switch.

Abstract: A flush pot assembly having a pot which is concealed when it is not being used. The pot can be easily accessed for use and washed with washing water after use even by a disabled person or a hospital patient. The flush pot assembly includes a pot connected to a flexible drain hose for passing washing water. The pot is provided such that it is integral with a back surface of a door. The door can be opened and closed and constitutes part of one side of a room. The flexible drain hose is connected between the pot and a drain pipe which leads to the outside of the room. The pot is moved into the room by opening the door and is accommodated in a space outside the room by closing the door.

The facility offers a toilet that not only lowers from a vertical position to a horizontal position, but can be adjusted vertically to different heights. The compact facility has a semicircular door, which is stored behind the equipment and machinery compartment when the facility is unoccupied. This design makes the facility adaptable for narrow sites in that when unoccupied, the facility only takes up the semicircular foot print on the side walk. A spacious interior is created only when the unit is in use.

Abstract: A height adjustable toilet for a handicapped person is provided and consists of a mechanism connected to a toilet bowl for selectively raising and lowering the height of its rim portions with respect to the floor, thereby causing an accordion pedestal portion and an extendable flush pipe to lengthen and shorten accordingly so that the handicapped person can conveniently sit upon and get off of a toilet seat on the rim portion of the toilet bowl.

A lid is hinged to the rear edge of the housing and is movable between a horizontal, closed position and an open position where the lid extends vertically. A foldable frame is secured to the housing and can be moved between a folded retracted position, where the frame is located within the housing, to an extended position where the frame extends vertically a substantial distance above the housing. A flexible curtain interconnects the undersurface of the lid and the frame and the lower end portion of the curtain is disposed within the open front end of the housing. When the lid is moved to the open position, the frame can be pivoted from the retracted to the extended position where the curtain provides an enclosure.

A bowl is mounted for rotation between a utilization position in which it projects horizontally from the partition in said usage zone and a cleaning position in which it is tipped up into an opening in the partition so as to empty it into the maintenance zone. The upwards opening of the bowl is separated into two sections by a partition wall which extends upwardly to cooperate with the front walls of the bowl to form a rim surrounding the utilization section of the bowl. The bottom of the partition wall stops short of the base of the bowl to define an orifice and the rear section of the bowl forms an evacuation passage from the evacuation orifice rearwards to the maintenance zone when the bowl is tipped up.

Abstract: A personal hygiene center comprises in combination a tub, hand-held shower head mounted on the tub and toilet. The tub has upright front and rear walls and opposing end walls. A ceiling interconnects the walls and is of a height to accommodate a normal person standing on a floor of the tub. The tub has a walk-in entrance opening in the front wall. The door closes off a lower portion of the front wall to contain water in the tub and leave open an upper portion of the front wall to permit access into the tub by an attendant. A bench-style seat is integral with a first of the end walls. A cavity is defined beneath the bench seat where the opening exposes a major portion of an edge of the bench-style seat adjacent the front wall. A second opening is provided in the front wall to permit sliding movement of the toilet into and out of the cavity. Track means mounts the toilet beneath the bench seat for such sliding movement into and out of storage position.

Abstract: A combination toilet and vanity for vehicular use comprises a toilet having a bowl and seating portion, the seating portion being horizontally displaceable for moving said seating portion into a forward position closer to a vanity whereby said seating portion may double as a vanity seat. In one embodiment, bellows extend from a seat back portion of the combination seat and tracks with the seat while the seat is displaced in a forward configuration thereby covering the toilet bowl portion.

Abstract: A urinal comprises a flattened urinal mounted within a toilet seat cover and a geared lever extending along the periphery of the cover which is coupled to the flatenned urinal. The geared lever engages a gearing arrangement which moves the urinal outwardly from the forward position of the cover while locking the cover in a raised position when the lever has been pulled through an angle of 180 degrees. The urinal opening comprises a funnel-shaped aperture which projects outwardly from the cover and is moved along a track by the gearing arrangement. When the lever is moved back to the closed position, an interconnected flushing valve is activated which sprays a jet of water on the entire inside of the urinal. The urinal retracts into the cover and the cover can be moved up or down.

The wetting control extends the range of wetness and facilitates cleaning operations. Right and left hand installations, using the same parts, are enabled.
