Pressure Tank Patents (Class 4/334)
  • Patent number: 8281424
Abstract: A flush toilet for prevention of reverse flow and uses a reduced number of parts. The flush toilet includes a toilet body having a bowl, a rim water outlet, a jet water outlet, and a discharge water trap piping; a water storage tank. A flush water supply mechanism is provided for supplying flush water to the rim water outlet and the water storage tank and a pressurizing pump pressurizes the flush water in the water storage tank. A jet-side water supply path supplies the pressurized flush water to the jet water outlet. An overflow path is provided having a lower end connected to the downstream side of the highest position of the jet-side water supply path and an upper end opened in the upper part in the water storage tank with a flapper valve provided in the overflow path.

  • Patent number: 6907623
Abstract: A pressurized water closet flushing system for flushing a toilet includes a water vessel having at least one opening for receiving water. A fill tube and a discharge tube extending into the vessel are secured to the vessel. A modular assembly cap including an intake and an actuator covers the opening. The fill tube remains secured to the vessel when the assembly cap is removed from the vessel.

  • Patent number: 6467101
Abstract: A toilet flushing and cleaning device includes a reservoir with a cylinder and a mixing tube disposed therein. The cylinder communicates with a water source. A plunger is slidably disposed in the cylinder. A plurality of spray nozzles communicate with the mixing tube. When a flush valve is opened to allow water into the cylinder, the piston is driven upwards. The increase in air pressure drives pressurized air and water into the mixing tube such that the spray nozzles clean the toilet with a burst of air-water mixture. In a further embodiment, a funnel is disposed in the toilet bowl and a bucket is suspended at the lower opening of the funnel. When the piston is driven upwards, the bucket is pivoted to release its contents. Additionally, a blower disposed between the funnel and the toilet bowl may be used to drawing air and odors from inside said funnel and directing air into said toilet bowl for release through the existing drain pipe and vent pipe.

  • Patent number: 6029287
Abstract: A pressure flushing system for use within a toilet tank includes a pressure tank which has a predetermined volume. There is a water outlet for the tank, a water inlet for the tank, and an air inlet for the tank. The air inlet is associated with the water inlet whereby water flowing into the tank draws air into the tank. A portion of the tank is thus occupied by water and a portion is occupied by air, with the air applying pressure to the water. There is a valve within the tank which controls the flow of water from the tank through the outlet. The volume of water within the tank which may flow through the outlet at any one operation of the valve is limited by a dam which is located within the tank and surrounds the outlet.

  • Patent number: 5848441
Abstract: A pressure assist toilet includes a gravity flow bowl, a gravity flow tank, and a thin walled pressure tank. The thin walled pressure tank is selectively configured to have a rectanguloid shape for insertion into the gravity flow tank and having strengthened areas to enable said thin walled pressure tank to be pressurized to about 20 PSI. The thin walled pressure tank is charged with a predetermined volume of water at about 20 PSI, and the charge is released from the thin walled pressure tank to the gravity flow bowl.

  • Patent number: 5742950
Abstract: An apparatus for pressure assisted flush toilets that comprises an air tight enclosed flush tank, a feed valve, a volume control device and a flush valve. The flush tank is normally empty when it is not in use. A push on the feed valve starts a flush cycle by feeding the flush tank with pressurized supply water. The incoming feed water fills the flush tank and at the same time compresses the entrapped air therein. When the tank is filled to the desired volume, the volume control device triggers to close the feed valve and opens the flush valve. Then the pressure of the compressed air in the flush tank discharges the water to the toilet bowl. The discharging water stream from the flush tank cleans the toilet bowl. After the flush the flush tank remains empty until next use.
