With Seat-actuated Valve Patents (Class 4/338)
  • Patent number: 8424124
Abstract: A multifunctional toilet comprises a water storage device having a guide rail, a toilet seat and an arm assembly. The water storage device is provided with a water tank having a water inlet and a water outlet. At the water inlet is provided an inlet valve having a float ball, and at the water outlet is provided an outlet valve. The opening and closing of the inlet valve is controlled by a controller. The opening and closing of the outlet valve is controlled by a rope. When the water tank moves to its lowest position, the controller will close the inlet valve, and the rope will open the outlet valve. At the water outlet outside the water tank is provided an expansion discharge pipe. Such a multifunctional toilet is simple in structure and has the advantage of automatically flushing the toilet without the use of electricity.

  • Patent number: 7476368
Abstract: A system for microbially deactivating items. The system includes a circulation system for circulating a microbial decontamination fluid through a deactivation chamber that forms a part of the circulation system. A container for holding items to be deactivated is provided. The container has a sealable cavity in which the items to be deactivated may be placed, and at least one valve element that is movable between an open and a closed position to regulate fluid flow into the cavity. An actuator in the deactivation chamber is operable to move the valve element to an open position when the container is disposed within the deactivation chamber, wherein the cavity within the container is in fluid communication with the circulation system when the valve element is in the open position.

  • Patent number: 4573223
Abstract: An automatic toilet flusher is designed for installation in conventional reservoir type toilets having an external flushing lever in front of the reservoir. The design is of utmost simplicity for minimal maintenance. It allows automatic flushing by the release of weight from a spring loaded seat, or manual operation. The design avoids dependence on rubbing against the outside of a porcelain reservoir for release means. A simple gravity pivot resets the device. The primary use is for disabled persons who are unable to operate a lever or for public bathrooms to ensure flushing after each use.
