Abstract: To provide either a facility comprising a plurality of stores that offer food and drink, and that treats customer seating for the plurality of stores as a shared space, or a method of attracting customers to said facility. This facility comprises: a traveling wheeled vehicle, which is capable of carrying customers on a tour of the shared space; and rotating tables. The rotating tables are configured such that tables are positioned upon rotating devices. The rotating devices comprise upper rotating bodies, further comprising central gears which are positioned in the centers of bases. The rotating devices further comprise: drive motors that are capable of rotationally driving the central gears; and casters that support the upper rotating bodies. The traveling wheeled vehicle and the rotating tables are positioned in the shared space.

Abstract: The invention relates to a display apparatus, particularly to structure of LED display modules. The invention could be implemented through a LED matrix display module with high luminance area ratio comprising an injection molding unit and a printing board fitted therewith, wherein, LEDs are regularly arranged in a matrix on said printing board, and each pixel dot is correspondingly provided with a reflecting cavity on said molding unit, with the reflecting cavity expanding gradually from the inside section (close to the display surface). The circumference of the inside section of the reflecting cavity forms a closed and smooth circular curve. The invention is characterized in that, the circumference of the outside section of the reflecting cavity forms a closed and smooth curve which is a square with round corners, and the side face of the reflecting cavity is a smooth and cured surface.

Abstract: An animated music box card includes a card sheet and a box-like structure attached to the card sheet. A music box mechanism and a movable animation figure are mounted within the box-like structure. A linkage is mounted within the box-like structure to transmit rotary motion of the music box mechanism to the animation figure.

Abstract: A motorized display using piezoelectricity to impart motion to point-of-purchase displays or other items is disclosed. A quartz movement, otherwise used for rotary movement of anniversary clocks, is preferably used to rotate the display. According to preferred embodiments, the motor has a drive train including a drive shaft and a battery as a power source. The drive shaft rotates when the motor is powered, a holder for a sign or merchandise item is positioned on the end of the drive shaft exterior to the motor housing and may be removable from the drive shaft. The drive shaft may be positioned vertically, horizontally or diagonally depending on the type of display being used. The rotation of the drive shaft may be either continuous one way or a 360 degree two-way revolution.

Abstract: A picture frame includes a frame body having both a sound generating mechanism and a movement mechanism connected to the picture frame. In one embodiment, the movement mechanism comprises a winding member providing additional ornamentation for the picture frame. In another embodiment, the winding mechanism forms part of the support structure for the picture frame. The picture frame has a multi-dimensional sense of beauty by enabling not only an audible component but also a spatial component through movement along a space adjacent to the picture being displayed.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a three-dimensional image is provided. The system uses one or more laser beams directed at one or more mirrors. Each mirror is flexibly attached to the vibrating portion of a transducer such as a speaker, the transducer being coupled to a signal source. Suitable signal sources include radio and television tuners, CD players, tape decks, VCRs, musical instruments with suitable signal outputs, and signal generators. The laser beam(s) reflected by the mirror(s) is directed at a rotating viewing surface, the viewing surface being semi-transparent. Due to the rotation of the viewing surface, a three-dimensional image is formed that can be viewed from multiple angles.

Abstract: A motorized display using piezoelectricity to impart motion to a jewelry item or other items is disclosed. A quartz movement, otherwise used for rotating hands of a clock, is preferably used to rotate the display. In a preferred embodiment, a housing which has a drive aperture encloses the piezoelectric motor and a battery. A drive shaft, which rotates when the motor is powered, passes through the drive aperture of the housing. A holder for removably but securely holding a jewelry item or other items is positioned on the end of the drive shaft exterior to the housing and may be removable from the drive shaft. The holder may be a ring holder, a watch holder, a broach holder, etc., or may even be an entire jewelry box. The rotation of the drive shaft may be either stepped or continuous and a kit may be provided to the user which includes both types of motors.

Abstract: A swinging toy for swinging a doll includes a sound producing unit comprising of a platter, a record, a tone arm assembly. The sound producing unit is a buzzer and driven by a motor drive to produce sounds. A clock may be provided which is controlled by a control unit to turn on the motor drive once per hour. And an actuator comprising a chuck carried on a revolving rod connected to a crank through a link and driven by the platter of the sound producing unit through a transmission gear to swing the doll as the sound producing unit produces sounds is also provided.

Abstract: The invention relates to a viewer for reading and/or displaying information recorded on written or printed tape.The viewer includes a supporting housing formed with two seats for removably accommodating two motor-driven rotatable spools or reels, one of which carries a roll of written or printed tape material, e.g. paper, wound thereon, the other being adapted to rewind the tape as it unwinds from the first reel. The tape winding/unwinding on/from the reels is controlled by a drive circuitry for operation by the user, e.g. through a push-button control. Above the tape portion extending between the two reels, there is arranged a magnifying lens for reading the information on the tape. Advantageously, the reel-accommodating seats are located on a drawer structure, which facilitates removal and replacement of the reels.The viewer may be connected to a recorder to create an audio-visual didactic aid therewith.

Abstract: A display arrangement consists of one or more elongate display devices, each of which has a number of separately energizable display areas positioned along its length. When energized, each display area is seen as a bright patch of light. As it is very difficult to arrange that the display areas extend right to the extreme ends of the device, optical deflection means are positioned in front of the display areas to magnify the size of each so that the total display area extends over the whole length of the elongate display device. The optical deflection means is arranged so that each bright patch is of substantially the same size. The invention enables a large number of similar elongate display devices to be placed end to end while avoiding the appearance of periodic dark patches at the ends of adjacent devices.

Abstract: A phonograph including a lower casing having a turntable. A cover is removably positionable over this turntable and has a top wall disposed in fixed parallel relationship to the plane of the turntable. The cover is made of a non-magnetizable material. A magnetizing disc is provided and having a plurality of magnets secured in a spaced apart manner on an upper face thereof. A drive post is provided and has a detachably securable end to connect to the disc and space the disc above the turntable. The post also has an engaging opposed end to engage with a center hole in the turntable to impart axial rotation to the post when the turntable rotates, whereby to impart a rotational drive to the disc to cause free displacement of magnetically attractable elements disposed on an outer surface of the cover when positioned thereover.

Abstract: An audio-visual phonograph device including a visual image projection system is provided which includes a case for the phonograph device having a lid that serves as a screen for the projection of images formed on a flat disc. The phonograph device further includes a variable speed turntable and a pick-up tone arm employed to reproduce the audio message on the records. The turntable is synchronized with a carrier onto which the visual image disc is removably mounted. The carrier rotates in synchronism with the turntable advancing a continuous image that is projected onto the screen in a timed relation with the correlated audio message.
