Abstract: A device for successively changing elongated flexible objects from an active viewable position to a non-active, non-viewable position includes a rotatable drum to which the flexible objects are attached, a motor driving the rotatable drum in opposing rotational directions, and a controller unit controlling motor speed and direction. A balancing spring is preloaded when the flexible objects are unwound from the drum, providing a lifting force when the flexible objects are wound up on the drum. By using a freewheeling clutch, preloading only occurs in one rotational direction, the balancing spring freewheeling in the other direction, taking no load. Utilizing a magnetically interactive identification strip the device gains highly accurate information on the position of the flexible elongated objects. By pre-attaching the flexible elongated objects on each other and providing the identification strip on the designated carrier flexible object exchanging the set of flexible elongated objects is made very simple.
Abstract: A clothespin where a rotary body which is provided with a plurality of blade portions is pivotally supported on a pinching member to pinch the pinching object with the blade portion, the pinching object can be firmly supported with the elastic force of the blade portion and the rotation of the rotary body is adapted to be effected smoothly in the taking off operation of the pinching object.
Abstract: An indicating device including an indicator having a plurality of information bearing surfaces adapted to be movable from a first position to a plurality of second positions. The indicating device includes an armature member coupled to the indicator and adapted to pivot about an axis with the armature member having a plurality of radially extending armature pole pieces disposed at its opposite ends. A stator member having a plurality of pole pieces disposed adjacent each armature pole piece and in a spaced apart relation therefrom such that when the armature member pivots about is axis, one of the armature pole pieces rotates toward one of the stator pole pieces, and the other of the armature pole pieces rotates away from the other of the stator pole pieces.
